How do you apply thread locker? When I do have the loose spokes I don’t even see the thread at all.

It comes in a small red bottle,( glue section, hrdwe store), two kinds, permanent & unlockable.
You only need to squeeze out a drop on the exposed threads. Very handy item for keeping
bike stuff tight like pedals & hex screws. use sparingly. Just unscrew spoke til threads are visible,
say 1/4 inch.

P.S. if they don´t come visible, that baby´s stripped replace both spoke & nipple.

The threads aren´t entirely gone, but won´t hold under signifigant tension. This has happened to
me with alloy derailleur hangers as well. You think your fine until the derailleur falls off.
