In case anyone is looking for review on Belize bikes, ERider I have one for my wife
Bought it cause there was a wait if 2-3 weeks on other brands. This was in a bike shop.
it had sloped handle bars and low step for woman. The seat is very padded and comfortable. The stance on the bike with sling handle bars is comfortable. The PAS system works well, and doesn’t jerk on take off. Battery seems to last quite a while.
The Bad...
Quick release chrome seat post could not be tightened enough to prevent twisting. Bike shop owner gave me an aluminum one. No tilt but it holds.
forks shocks are moving front and back, lots of play for only 200 KM’s. Stem is quick adjusting with no tools. However it won’t latch closed, handlebars can fall suddenly causing an accident.
it is not designed to go in any rain dealer told me. But has full fenders.
I sealed huge open holes in pedal area where all wires go into controller. RTV and dielectric sealed everything but it is poor design by manufacturers. With Belize, all warranty is through the bike dealer who sold it to you. If you’re not handy with bikes this goes well.
Factory does not respond to you. For some consumers, having a bike shop take care of issues is their only option. It’s not a bad bike, especially the dealer takes care of you.
