This is the very latest and current model Turbo Vado 4.0 in Large frame size as shown on the Specialized UK website. For those of you interested in tech specs, facts and figures, there is no point in me typing them all out here when Specialized have got them on their website so please check them out there.
It is under full warranty until 18th October 2021 so the new owner will still benefit from this full manufacturer backed warranty via Edinburgh Bicycle Coop who are great to deal with. The warranty will also be honoured by any official Specialized bicycle dealer of your choice.
I have upgraded the handlebars to much more comfortable ergonomic ones as can be seen in the close up picture.
I have also upgraded the rear wheel to an ultra strong “Mavic Crossmax” wheel as I like to carry lots of luggage and wanted it to be as strong as possible. This also means it can take the typical abuse that cities throw at it from pot holes, to speed bumps as well as rougher semi off road terrain. The rear wheel has its own separate warranty until August 2023! A Specialized bottle cage is also included under the top frame as can be seen the main photo.
Finally I am also including a FREE 2nd charger worth £95! Very handy if the bike is often kept at 2 different locations. Or you wanted 1 at home and 1 at work for example.
The bike also connects to your smart phone. The Specialized App is called “Mission control” and it has a range of functions. You can tweek the power modes to your own preferences, record maps of rides done as well as access bike stats and diagnostic tools and more.
Specialized have not shown stock availability on their website for these bikes for a very long time so demand is high. I have taken £900 off the retail price to reflect that it is used but will not entertain any further haggling.
The bicycle is available for collection in Edinburgh. For a £15 delivery charge I can also deliver it to any City of Edinburgh address (or slightly further).
