Battery storage question

I need to store my battery for a few months. It's currently at 80%, and it's too dang cold to ride to discharge down to the Giant-recommended 60%.

Am I going to cause any damage by leaving it the way it is?

80 will be fine but, take it off the bike and store in inside the house. Cold/heat can hurt the 18650 cells in your batter.
