Battery Protection

fwiw, I did this to try and keep the mud and water from getting into the battery space. Used Tape to secure an extra piece of thin closed cell foam and then a mud guard to the face of the battery that is exposed to all the mud and rock hits. I used the mud gard and tape to make a flange that extends past all the edges of the battery opening. A couple inches on top and bottom and around half and inch on either side .

I really like Bulls but in the same time I do not really like that the battery is attached from the bottom. From engineering point of view, would be more logical to go from the top. Now I have feeling that battery may just drop out. And of course, can collect all dust, water, mud... For mounting bike, really bad construction.
