Battery not charging Denango 48 volt

I did run down battery till dead but it charged back once, now not charging, I do have power from charger, green light stays on full time I believe it should be blinking.their is 48 % on battery now,a post i saw said to run battery clear down and it will reset and charge, yes or no.

No
Running it down can actually damage the battery and implement safety features that will prevent a charge.
Test your charger with a voltage meter to be sure it is putting out voltage.

The charger is putting out i may have damaged battery by running two low,but it did recharge to 48%after the low discharge

The BMS "should" have protected it from discharging too low.
Can you test the battery voltage directly from the battery?

Thanks for the replies, I took the battery and bike to the shop that I purchased it from, for me I feel better letting them look at it,I trust your help, but not my labor, I'll let you know what they say.

I wonder what the battery is. On some you can reset the BMS by feeding it some safe low voltage USB, if it has a port, for a couple of hours. Also the bike should have been programed to not run the battery like a whipped bloody horse into the ground. Which make me wonder about what bike it is.

I noticed that on my 4 amp charger, if I unplug the charger from the battery while it's charging, the light turns green.
Then when I plugged it back in, the light stays green. ?? (indicating full charge)

I need to unplug the charger from the battery then also unplug the charger from outlet and wait about 10 seconds for the charger to reset.

Then I reconnect the charger to the wall socket, then connect it to the battery, and it will continue charging.

My two other chargers don't operate that way, but all the chargers should be plugged into the wall socket before plugging it into the battery.
And the battery connection should always be unplugged before unplugging the wall socket.

Yes, it sounds like the battery management system on the Charger once it turns green it locks out any further charge until you reset it by disconnecting it from the battery and removing it from wall power. This is what makes it really good at not over charging the battery. What brand and model charger is it?

It's your standard no-name Chinese charger,..

This is actually my fourth and favorite charger.
You're probably familiar with it?
Maybe even the brand name?

It's the only one I use unless I'm charging two batteries at once.
