MY NEW 500W BAFANG REAR HUB FAT BIKE DIES ON STEEP HILLS UNDER FULL ELECTRIC POWER AND FULL PEDDLE POWER. DISPLAYS HALL SIGNAL ABNORMALITY. ANY IDEAS. It's not the motor connection.

Is this happening with a full charge? Have you tried upping the tire pressure a bit to see if that helps?

Too, are your expectations within reality? A 500w gear driven hub should pull some pretty decent hills (especially with help from it's rider), but there's good reason Bafang also supplies (much) bigger motors.

Return the bike if its new and under warranty,if its throwing errors on hills what good is it?
also I said before and ill say again, its best to go 750 or more with hub motors,there are a few Legit 500watt bikes that kick ass
but not many.
