Assist levels

I inherited an essentially new ST5 (2020, <200 km) which I’ve just started riding. Assist Level 3 seems like it’s stopped working, 3 shows on OMNI screen but no change in power. Tried a restart but no change. Only thing I can find in Stromer FAQs is check brake sensor. Any ideas?

Try a reset and then calibrate the Torque Sensor and adjust the sensitivity.

After much sleuthing I discovered Stromer, through its worldwide software connectivity, unilaterally detuned the motors of Canadian registered bikes to conform to provincial regulations of 32 kph max speed. Wtf!
