(Art)istic eBike

Sorry about the silence, guys. I have been carrying and laying bricks, planting trees and flowers, and generally doing what she who is always right says needs doing in the yard ( a lot) whenever it isn't raining.

My only rides have been short, unpowered, and on the grass or the parking lot at the end of the street by my house ... relearning to ride her as a bike before smashing myself up at class 3 speeds.

On a related note, this thread should not be in the general forum anymore; where to move it I wonder?

The folders, builds, or Montague subforums all seem reasonable, but noone except me ever visits the Montague subforum , and this won't be technical enough for for the builders subforum, so probably I'll post to the folding bikes forum untill I am ready to do a real ride report. What do you think?
If you post it, I will read... Wherever it happens to be 😉.

I think that you should post it here in General Ebike Forum, then we can all find it and not lose track of it.

It's not like you'll get in trouble if you post it here.

@Art Deco,
Did the Seawall Rescue arrive at S&B? What did you find in the box. Did you see where it came from?

I think your new bike is firstly more of a custom bike that it is a folding bike. There are tons of fat folders and your bike is nothing like them.

I agree.
All other folders fold with HUGE compromises.

You've got a E-Bike that folds in a smart way.
Your only compromise it some added weight.

You're in a league of your own so I think that to post here in this forum is more than appropriate.

Montague makes a great ebike folder. Excellent drive and battery integration, smart folding and fairly light for what it is. I just don't like the style and geometry. Personally, I don't want a step through. As I previously stated, I've followed this company a long time and when rumors were swirling around, they were coming out with an ebike, I was excited, but this wasn't what I hoped for. Great bike, just not for me.

People have been electrifying bikes like Art's for a long time. I like the style a lot. The only fatbike I have is a 900 pound Harley, and the only way it folds is under an 18 wheeler. Art's bike is a lean, smart folding ebike. Art, I need to ride that on a fall foliage ride ;) You have a good month and a half to break her in👍

Be careful riding on wet foliage !!

It doesn't matter what tires you have, it's like sliding out on ice, only made worse because you're not expecting it. 😂

I watched the video, and I'll say again,.. That's Fricken Cool 😎 !!!

You could mount a sling between the wheels and use it as a wheelchair !!

Then you'll get the closest parking spot, and you'll get right to the front of every line !! 😂

I know of someone who might be getting an M-E1, size small, in blue. And also saving some money on the spanking new bike.

This is the bike I wish Montague had electrified. Paratrooper.

Elite

Pro and Standard, with rack/stand

Who needs Montague !??
@PedalUma can electrify one for you.

Maybe he can electrify one for me ??
How much $??
I edited and added a second video. I don't have a need for a folder, but who knows what the future holds.

I edited my post to say that I don't need the parachute.
I don't have a need for a folder either but it sure is damn cool 😎. 😂

I don't care if it's Santa 🎅, a stork 🐦, or a lahma 🦌 that delivers it, but I wants me one !! 😂

A valid point, but anyone who can't find the latest posts by @Art Deco on EBR is either really lost or needs to clean up their ignore list again. I am down to only one on my list again , BTW ...

As far as the parachute goes, I may be crazy enough to spend thousands on a bike I still have to pedal uphill, but I am not jumping out of a perfectly good airplane 😀.
