how long have they lasted you?

I have them on my Magnum Metro+. Currently sitting at 2,500 miles with no significant wear (well, nothing I've noticed anyway). I'm sure they've worn but have so much life left that I haven't been concerned with them.

I had the Marathon Plus on an eGlide bike. I'm not very hard on tires and always ride on paved roads or bike trails. The back tire is still ok after about 1,700 miles with a lot of thread left, but the front tire had the side wall burst even though it still had a lot of thread left at about 1,000 miles. It could very well just be a bad tire from one particular batch, I'm sure it happens to every manufacturer, but given how expensive they are I won't be buying any more Marathon Plus tires.

I got around 3000 miles on a set of Marathon Pluses.

About 5000 km on a set and they look like they'd be good for another 5000. They're pretty hard wearing. But yeah, don't take slippery corners hard in the wet on them.
