Any possible way to attach seatpost hitch to an irregular oversized e-bike seatpost? (see pic)

I recently got an Eahora Azarias and it comes with a very thick irregular shape hidden battery seatpost (as below). it's too bad i cannot attached my trail-a-bike to this due to this. any possible ideas?

Pic shows the seatpost tube, as well i'm holding the hitch i want to attach. i'm 99% i'm out of luck but just throwing this out there...

Fit some tube in the hitch as normal, but with an inch or two sticking out either side. You can then use Jubilee clips, metal tie wraps or similar to fit it to the seat post. Put some fabric tape around the seat post first to protect it from scratches.

With the design of your new ebike I think you are out of luck to come up with something safe.

There are other hitch brackets available for the trail-a-bike:

Maybe you could adapt one to fit the rear rack on the bike instead of the seatpost.

I thought about that... But that rack doesn't look the strongest and it's mounted on a suspension rear.
