any Canadians purchase from Ride1up?

I am very serious in purchasing a bike BUT the potential tariffs and Fedex or whoever delivers this will charge me. Has anyone had experience getting the bike up here and charges involved? I know of the duty calculator but they don't have a section for ebikes. And was the bike made in "Canada, the United States and Mexico are CUSMA countries". Obviously parts are from china but what does "made" mean? I am assuming its assembled in the US?

I know I'm not solving your problem, but which ride1up are you looking at?
I was thinking about suggesting a similar bike .. if possible

Aww thanks. I have purchased the ride1up core 5. Its around 50 lbs. I did see the Rideal which I would have bought but they didn’t ship to Canada. Hopefully my core will be assembled tomorrow.
