Abus Shield 5650L on a Trek Allant?

Has anyone tried the Abus 5650L on any Trek bike? I'm interested in it for an Allant, but the measurements seem so close to tolerance, I don't know if it would fit.

It would not fit on my Allant +7S. The width at the seat stays is too wide for the ABUS 5650L to mount. Abus is supposed to be releasing XL models that would seem to work.
