Allen Millyard makes you tube videos show casing his engineering and fabrication skills. His creations are so creative and rethink common practices for the better. Unlike most so called bike manufacturers who build bikes by ordering from a catalog he starts from scratch and builds most of his components so that he can solve engineering problems in existing product. He has a small shop and most things are done by hand. A real genius.
Watch the video and place a comment asking him to do an ebike. I would love to see his take on it.

The combo of putting the IGH (looked like an Alfine 11 speed) above the crankset, then having a single bolt for the rear wheel, that keeps the brake rotor on the bike, is pretty impressive.

I would LOVE to see what he could do with an eMTB. Heck, it would be fun to see it with a Lefty fork as well (I know it's would be unbalanced, but what the heck).

I also love the idea of enclosing the chain inside the swingarm in an oil bath. Probably the best solution for an ebike exposed to dirt and water.

Love that bike! Elegant, logical design. I wish he noted the weight. Sort of a space-frame MTB.

Another brilliant British engineer, Alex Moulton pioneered the space-frame bike in the 1960's. Incredibly strong and light for its day, and Moulton still makes bikes today.
