A few Hydra pics

I'm glad everybody on point again.
Yesterday it was hilarious.
I shared my suggestion on Pushkar's wall project.
Suggesting make a black Adidas jersey padded with the WW wave in reflective silver. And hangit for people to buy with their Hydras.
Barnboy shot out a pic. of a black and white prairie kitty.

I have an unanswered question.
Has anyone hosed down their Hydra with water to make it clean?
Pushkar mentioned pressure washer it?
Reed Scott says the controller will be wet.
I think you should name it Pepe - The Little Mule from Romancing the Stone!

I've killed a few skunks that developed the bad habit of coming around the house only because having your dog skunked ( happened a couple times )is a huge pain. But they are not bad animals. They certainly have their place in the environment and help keep the insect population controlled. Plus they're cute. ;)
In Oregon forests there’s a less common Spotted Skunk. We had one get into our barn and found a cache of chicken eggs. When the chicken went to sit on her hidden pile, the skunk sprayed her. We followed the smell, which was not nearly as bad as a regular skunk and found the little critter. Cutest damn thing I ever saw. It eventually stopped coming around.

Hey, Please, somebody that has access to those social media sites .... Any new pics? Asking for a friend. 🤠

Reed are you able to click on that link and see the picture?

If not, can a more tech savvy person than I get the picture up on this thread?

That is a sharp looking build.

Yeah, I can see it. Bigger pics would be nice. Gotta be about an $8k build I'm guessing. Maybe more. I take special note of the fact that someone with that kind off money and obvious bike savvy ... Stayed with a conventional drive train. Thank you for posting.

You're welcome. :)

I take note of that too.....then I go on to assume it's because they don't have my foresight. :) :)

I'm really hoping it is a short hop from single set of sprockets on an IGH to stronger than currently used belt with no chain/sprocket and related maintenance. (I have heard rumors of that possibility.)

Yeah, wish I knew how to blow up all pictures too. I can do it with some.

I still like the old fashioned cassette. Simple and low cost to fix/replace vs an IGH. Plus with a cassette you can do a wireless shifting setup which is infinitely adjustable and eliminates some of the rats nest of wires.

Keep this under yer hat Vinny but I been usin dry lube cough (teflon) cough on my chain and it shifts like butta. Like buttaaa! Putting it on the derailleur and cassette too. ssshhhhhhhh

British Columbia is on fire! Hit 40C in Vancouver, which is unheard of. Just brutal for city famous for rain and hockey riots.

Is teflon different than chain wax?

Check the composition. If your chain wax contains PTFE is contains Teflon.

Any One has experience with using Boeshield T-9 for their chain. That stuff has a great reputation in the worst of environments.

Well of course its different. The two materials have nothing whatsoever in common. As to which works better the only possible way to know would be to do a long term test for your self. And that would entail using one or the other till you chain wears out and then doing same with the other product. There is a LOT of opinion posted here on various chain lubes and one thread showing tests of a few different lubes. Just search.

I'm taking my thread back and adding some more pics from tonight. 😀😀😀

We've had several inches of rain the last couple days so I had to stay off the trails. Got pics of buffalo and deer tonight.
