8Fun Help Please

I have a converted road bike using an 8Fun centre-mount motor and controller.

Recently I have noticed a 'drag' in the motor after I have been free-wheeling. I often have to pedal for about 20 seconds or so then everything returns to normal.

Any suggestions about how I can fix this issue.

Is the motor serviceable? If so what do I have to do?

THese motors don't normally drag, Might be a worn out pawl gear.
