Dual motor; full suspension; semi-recumbent MeetOneTrike with 180nm torque @ 25 mph

Not a lot of thorough reviews done on this one to date.
A spare motor (albeit only15ah) is much cheaper at $500 than most and the cushier seat with armrests seems reasonable at $200.
The latter, access height and overall beefiness make a stronger (dual) mobility device argument than most.
I like the fact also that it has an apparently smooth ride/full suspension (extremely rare in trikes), hydraulic 180mm brakes, 2 batteries separated by PAS levels, motors easily exchanged yet hopefully still working if one fails, adjustable handlebars, a much larger than normal weight capacity, what looks to be a decent headlight, reverse, a rear differential and by all accounts an overall stabile demeanor for a trike.
Oh yeah, and it also doesn't look like (to me) Mary Poppins just got off of it.

...and the question which got me in trouble previously on this very forum (see the Addmotor Soletri thread):
Who makes anything remotely resembling the Tour...and why is this trike not 'groundbreaking' in terms of price, features and value at $3299 delivered (less a 3% discount code) in late 2024(?).
Still a lot of money...yet who will be producing 'overbuilt' say a year from now...and for how much?

Pedal positioning as related to seat positioning seems to always be a conundrum for the designers of these latest trikes.
I like what these guys have done in two areas:
Combined a nice large low slung flat area for future seat modifications with a standard seat post and enough bracing to fabricate just about anything to your heart's desire...
Smartly allowing the frame to be stretched to just about any length imaginable with little effort expended (but a few bolts) to achieve any seating position desired.
I'll go out on a limb to claim that this trike will someday be akin to the Ford Model A Roadster:
Stylish, solidly built and likely desirable in the future for those seeking to make someone else's design their own.

It'll sell when possibly others will not in the near future.

One question that I'd like to have answered is whether the 2nd motor doesn't kick in until PAS3 has been selected. It appears that 5 PAS levels are standard.
What a great design if this is the case:
Play around with the 7 gears as normal for exercise with just a little bit of pedal assist when desired or needed. Save that 2nd battery for throttle only or higher PAs as needed with 30Ah total to play with.
After I saw that guy whip it around in a 360 and remark on how stable it was? (for a trike)...I was sold.

Just curious, do you own a trike right now? Or are you looking for the perfect model before committing to a trike purchase? Have you test rode any? What do you currently own? This model looks like a decent balance of power and ergonomics. Concerning the PAS question with the 2nd motor, reaching out to company support will give you an idea of real support should you need it in the future.

That last review link you posted that old dude has ridden a trike before! I know a veteran trike rider when I see it form owning a few myself. Quick silly side note. My wife signed up for a motorcycle trike safety course. Your'e thinking "Motorcycle?" but hear me out. She took the course and actually had a blast! The instructors would push you right up to your comfort level and get you to master the "exclusive" handling traits of a trike. The class not only helped her with the motorcycle style trikes she's owned but the few etrikes shes ridden. See if there's a trike safety course in your area. Even if they use a reverse trike like a Can-Am you'll still learn some great skills.

I would click on my previous threads or reread the last one that you were in with me in terms of what trike I own and what I value in same. Too much to repeat.

So your'e looking for something more comfy, more power and longer range. I fully understand that! I myself have purchased way to many ebikes only to find out they don't fit my needs. I now insist on extended test rides if possible so I don't waste anymore time and money. The Lectric ONE was the final straw for me. Talk about a disappointment! Influencers are not to be trusted!

Oh, that guy who's family member crashed that reverse trike from SixThreeZero did a update on what he thinks caused the crash, and the related damage from said crash to ebike. His family member didn't get to messed up, just road rash. Pretty crazy though!

I'm still rolling the dice in terms of manufacturers/quality. It helps to have lived long enough to evaluate things more accurately 'offhand' save for the electronics/internal mechanicals. The feedback that I have received from Ivy on the MeetOne Team to date has been great. This helps for a machine at the near $4k level (with accessories) not being available for almost 2 months on (apparently) a first production run.
Waiting on pricing for a waterproof battery cover, a cover for the trike and a suspension seat post. The latter will be great for the OEM seat as I have one for my obsolete ebike, love it and believe that it would make this trike the only available with 3-point suspension from the factory (front/rear/seat).
I (apparently) got in trouble for rightfully calling the Soletri/Heroti trikes 'groundbreaking' when they were released. (see all who jumped in quite nastily when the simple truth was told). This new product is making no less of a splash.
Being able to actually afford an extra battery and extend its range is yet another huge factor for me.

Here's a fairly balanced/real life reaction to the Tour by a couple with not much experience on trikes.
I like the fact that every rider seems to be saying the same thing time and again: Smooth ride with decent handling.
A fully loaded suspension system is hard to beat whether you're a 'weight' snob or not. It's how a cushy ride physically happens.
They also mention that the seat area will be redesigned for adjustability.

When a trike (finally) comes along with this many features for this price; my personal gauge of its value is to simply challenge the 'experts' on any forum to tear it down. Tell me flat out what is better for the price and why.
If you remember when the Addmotor Soletri/Herotri came out (similarly) with their previously unseen full suspensions, built like a brick poophouse frames and generous/comfortable seating; boy oh boy did the haters ever pop out of the woodwork for one single reason:
When you very simply ask someone to name something better for the same or better price and prove it...this drives many absolutely crazy.
So let's experiment a little again and see if we hear nothing but crickets (again): ;)

Who makes a heavier duty built fat tire trike with more features for the price than the MeetOne Tour on December 9th, 2024 (???)
If you cannot explain feature for feature why this might indeed be so...don't bother.
Hint: If you start arguing weight...ask yourself why every single one of these test riders are feeling so planted in the turns...

Trikes of any kind have always been a weird market. Now that trikes are starting to gain some popularity more manufacturers are jumping into the trike market. For the price Lectric still has the best dollar for dollar valued trike out there. Liberty still makes trikes as well. Pedego still has that nice riding trike model they make. That BUZZ I had was a little powerhouse with its 350watt mid-drive. Even Rad does a trike now. AddMotor as well.

AddMotor had that whole frame cracking nonsense they drug their feet on resolving and that kinda kills faith in your brand. Rad ignored the whole tire liner debacle so I no longer trust their products, and I LOVE the 1 speed RadRunner so much. So price is irrelevant if the company doesn't properly back the product should something fail.

Like mentioned before, we want a full review of the MeetOne Tour if you get it. It packs a bunch of stuff that if you feel you need you will surely get. And if you feel the price is fair than even better. It (Tour) seems like a good value overall, especially for a trike. So please order one and pound some serious miles on it. We love pictures and reviews from regular users much more than an influencer.

Just for comparison. My wife wanted a trike scooter to tool around on. Most of those China scooters (Ice Bear, Tao Tao) are still junk. She doesn't want to break down! I had a Genuine Buddy 125 and we ordered a Tow-Pac outrigger kit for it. The Tow-Pac kit self destructed yet the Buddy was running strong. Tow-Pac makes junk. Next we found a Honda Silverwing scooter and had a Motor Trike kit installed (very expensive). Finally a bulletproof match! But the Silverwing combo rode like a horse cart at speed. We also had a Can-Am RT (clumsy riding and overly complicated) yet she still looks at a Ryker now and then. So buy what you like and ride the wheels off of it! Then give us a honest review!

OK, let's make it simple. Which Lectric trike, anywhere near similar to this one in power, suspension, comfort, ride, battery life, torque, carry capacity, etc. etc...is somehow"dollar for dollar valued" more...and most importantly why feature for feature.
I pretty much warned everyone that this would happen.
Liberty still makes trikes as well. Pedego still has that nice riding trike model they make.
That they "still make trikes" or "ride nice" has absolutely nothing to do with a single (cough) 'similar' trike that either produces *stood up against this one* or better yet rode one on one against each other! (as the last video above frankly dared to do).

What we have reduced ourselves to in this country is the following;
:
"..yeah, but that's pretty nice too.." (and/or) "...we just don't really want to pick winners and losers; give everyone a trophy!...".

The America that I grew up in was full of individuals with extremely strong opinions. We had men and women all around us who had fought/sacrificed/witnessed others pay the ultimate price in two World Wars and every heartbreak in between/afterwards. They were tough and you had better bring your 'A' game if you wanted to hang with them in any conversation whatsoever. We took things like these trikes and made them in to better machines because our neighbor came right out and claimed that they were a piece of crap. It was a challenge.

Perhaps any latter comparisons (part for part) are much too 'non-politically correct' nowadays...yet I strongly believe that this has been going on since the dawn of time, that it is healthy and frankly needed when we are paying this much for a tricycle that doesn't even weigh 200#.

Just my opinion, YMMV (especially if you have never been around those who held strong ones). ;)

Let's make it easy for those folks willing to put their trike up against the MeetOne Tour. Here's a copy/paste form. Simply insert your trike in to the form and brag about yours/rail against the Tour (feature for feature):

MeetOne Tour

Two 15 Ah batteries totaling 30Ah of run time standard ($500 for a spare in 2024)

Separated control allowing only one battery to be depleted in lower PAS mode (no more wondering if you can get home)

Two motors allowing easy replacement, combined torque and never being completely shut down from losing one

180 Nm of torque

Reverse

Rear differential

(3) 20" fat tires

(3) Hydraulic disc brakes

Pedals located far forward on the frame for seat adjustability

Frame easily extended for pedal/seat adjustability.

Overbuilt frame throughout

Semi-recumbant seat with backrest (optional mobility style seat with armrests)

Low seating position possible with plenty of area for future modifications

Well over 500 lbs. of capacity with enough battery to back it up

Front and rear suspension 'plus' (optional) seat post suspension

Trailer hitch attachment point of some type

Front turn signals

Fenders standard

Replacement wear parts such as pads, rotors, chains, tubes, tires, etc. available in house

Corners like a dream due to the obvious (safer)

Doesn't look like Mary Poppins just took it for a spin

So you're really going to use this trike at high speeds and going far? If so, this trike will work out for you. Most everyone I know just uses trikes to run to the store or local park. I don't leave outside of a 6 mile radius much anymore myself. So when you buy it and start riding it do a running mileage log as well. Give us range results as well. Even though a trike is nowhere on my needs radar right now I still like real user reviews.

I have a local ebike store that sells trikes. I've talked to most of the owners when I see them. So far no one has purchased one for a car replacement or commuter. They just buy them to tool around their local stomping grounds. No need for speed or a long range. I do see 2 people commuting on trikes on my way to work but haven't had a chance to speak to them. One is a converted Worksman trike and the other is a Amazon weird name etrike. I've seen Amazon etrike guy having stand-offs on the sidewalks with joggers and regular cyclist, as the narrow sidewalk is the only safe place to ride on this particular stretch of road. I really need to get my DJI camera working.

And let me say this again. If this trike fits your needs and you find the price fair and pull the trigger on one we want a real user review! You don't have to justify your purchase with me or anyone else. Buy it, ride it and give us a review of it!

Purchased. Review forthcoming God willing.
The problem with my generation its that we have never and never will feel the need to 'justify' what we know to be a fact and can prove easily.
What we simply ask for is the truth and 'what is better'(?)...which most in current generations do not understand given their indoctrinations steeped heavily in (damaging) relativism.

I'm a simpleton. Example: I can afford any car I want but I purchased a base model Honda Fit. I don't need all the extras that I'll never use. Just give me a.c., cruise control and reliability. Also would never buy something huge, like a quad cab pickup. I just need a vehicle to get from point A to point B.

So when you get some seat time give us a review. Dazzle us with all the admittedly neat tech the MeetOne packs!

I can afford any car and purchased a 2010 Fit many years ago. Loved it/did what I wanted it to. What that has to do with the best trike out there for the money with the most features included, I have no idea.
I don't need all the extras that I'll never use. Just give me a.c., cruise control and reliability.
Comparing those basic features on a car to a pedal powered trike(?)...still not following. Also wondering how anyone draws the line on strictly the features that they need...versus the rest of us out here wondering if a new product is something that we want, need, lust after and/or value for what it is.
Also would never buy something huge, like a quad cab pickup. I just need a vehicle to get from point A to point B.
The proposal that the Tour puts forth is not a huge trike by any stretch of the imagination. What this trike does offer is a weight, width and wheelbase proposition which keeps that front wheel much better planted in turns (period). It's not rocket science but physics and the Tour is a reasonable size by any comparison to all others out there at this time.
So when you get some seat time give us a review. Dazzle us with all the admittedly neat tech the MeetOne packs!
I'm still waiting for someone to come on up here and tell me that I made a mistake. Why am I not considering something else with at least as many features/more for even more money or close?
I am also here making some pretty bold claims about this trike that are not being refuted..
I like being told that I don't know what I'm talking about. When it comes to committing this much money to something that I have spent this much time researching...let's hear it.

Make me look stupid with buyer's regret and I'll love you for it.
Then again, if no one shows up here with a strong opinion/good case for some other trike or quadricycle before January of 2025 and I actually receive the Tour that I paid for when (always a gamble)...I'm feeling a whole lot better either way. ;)
