My wife and I went for a ride today and after a 32 mile ride with 53% remaining her bike died with no assistance whatsoever.
Upon returning the bicycle to the car, I inspected it and could find nothing to validate the reasoning as to why there was no assistance in Eco sport or turbo. When arriving home, I swapped out the battery from my Vado 5.0 to see if it possibly has something to do with that. It did not. I then took the bike for a ride with the different battery and went through the Eco sport and turbo mode with no response or assistance whatsoever. However, when I pressed the F2 button underneath the handlebar control , it allowed me to manually percentage wise go 10% 20% 30% etc. up to 100% assistance and through that procedure. The bicycle responded to providing pedal assist power.
I contacted my local bike shop. He asked me to bring it in he feels as though it may have something to do with the handlebar control. Has anyone ever had a similar issue and was it the handlebar control or was it something else.
Thank you
