This is a positive review. I love this bike.

I am 5'-9" and weigh 180 lbs. I live in a flat area and typically ride 1-3 hour rides for fun and exercise. I run 60 PSI front and back for comfort and range. I ride mostly in the Std/High settings and get 40-50 miles on my battery.

Over the last few months, I have made a few changes to the bike.

I converted the 1x10 setup to 2x10 (48/32) with a 11-36 Cassette
The 48 keeps me in the middle of the cassette for a better chainline and less chain wear.
The new 32 is a little lower gear vs stock.

I discovered that the low step frame allows a bottle cage to be mounted on the seat post - a position that is both accessible and does not interfere with standover.

I cut the bars to 25" wide and installed my favorite Ergon GP2 grips. I also installed a 90cm stem to get me a little lower and a little more stretched out. These changes seemed to improve my range, by the way.

I use the "light spring" 2-sided SPD platform pedal - I ride with clips on long rides or with street shoes when I go shopping. It is a nice setup for me.

I love the saddle, and I added an ABUS cafe lock which I use in addition to my chain.

What else? At 500 miles, the rear tire is just beginning to "flatten" so I will rotate to front.

Finally - I am happy to report that the rim/tire combination is not overly tight, making it easy to change flats.

Stock Haibike saddle - it has cutout and is "wide" for the more upright riding position (vs. road bike position)
