My Ridecontrol Ergos handlebar fixing has broken and whilst I have managed to refix it with a cable tie the straiin on the wires whilst it was loose has affected it as occassionally all the lights flash and the decrease assist button only works with indivdual taps and not by a long press.
The cable passes into the frame with a brake tube and the gear cable and unlike later models there is no plate to remove to enlarge the opening. Have tried to pull the cable out but it sticks, presumzably with the connector stickingh passing the others. Is it safe to tug further on it or am I likley to find the connector disconnecting with part of it still inside the frame?
