2018 Xduro trekking S 9.0 front light upgrade

I am thinking of upgrading my front light since the stock one is not very bright and sturdy. So far I narrow down Supernova Pure or Bush & Miller IQX with 6V. I understand, we have to open up the motor and do the install using the new harness. Is it possible, just to connect the new one with the exist cable without open up the motor since both are using 6V?

Your bike can accept 12V light but for that you may need to take it to the dealer.

To answer your question, yes you can splice the wire and connect the new light and it will work just fine. I did that on my Xduro Trekking S-pedelec.

Bought the nip-800 and the Bosch retrofit kit for the light holder from light and motion. Put them on my bike today and oh boy, it is day and night different when comparing to the stock Axa 60 Lux light.

yes!
On the high setting, it is really bright and more than enough for night riding. I like how compact and neat it is.
If you are commuting on pitch dark roads, the SECA 1800 would provide even better illumination.
