Have fun.. should work well with the Diamondback.

More than one person has reported that the controller has failed early, then they send you another one.

Suggest you install your kit straight away and use it while the warranty is in effect.

Can I use another controller if something goes wrong?

Can I use another controller from another company with more options?

The 750w is the one prone to failure due the high current draw and overheating issues. Check with whomever sold you the unit that it is the newer 9FET controller. Those have been mostly problem free.

The Bafang mid drive is a freakin' beast. Not the most refined ebike kit around but one of the best hill climbers. Super fun kit that I'm looking at myself for a winter commuter fat bike build. Be warned: the 750w version will do wheelies. The torque is insane. Get a good chain.

It is the c961...Thanks

Will post as soon as I start...I am looking forward also. I haven't seen any Overdrive pics online as of yet. You would think there would be one since it is one of the most sold?

Diamondback said the BB is 73mm specs online only say sealed. I saw another post here that stated 68mm, the bottom shell is 3 inches which is like 76mm. I hope we can get the bolts easy for the 73 install from bike shop or is it a special order?

The new 25A controllers with 9-FETs are scheduled to arrive in North America in July 2014. Mine is a serial number with 7/2014 I think it might be the newer one won't be sure till it arrives. Thanks for the imput....

Just finish the installment with the help of www.allbikerepair.com This thing is really awesome....It cruises at 25 mph no problem. Don't know distance as of yet but I think it will be in the area of 20 miles cruising in setting 6 of 9 at 20mph. I think it looks pretty stealthy and works better than I imagined.

sorry for the confusion...Thanks love it so far:)

Don't want to stop riding...think I'll need another battery hopefully they come down in price a bit. It would be awesome if they made this type battery in a LIPO....and a higher ah like 15 or 20 instead of 10.4ah...
