Or the equivalent of, in a Tesla (that has the 85 kWh battery pack). Assume average ebike battery of 500 watt hours.

Just a friendly factoid. ;)

In case you were ever curious.

Ok, now how many individual cells is that? (I know, but do you, and can you answer without googling it) ;)

500Wh eBike battery x 170 = 85kWh Tesla battery pack.
7104 battery cells / 170 = 41.8, say 42 cells per eBike pack.

Tesla uses 2170 format. Most ebikes still use 18650. You googled the count. And worked backwards to the wrong answer.

Mike, I own a Telsa Model S and X and they use 18650 batteries... only the Model 3 uses 21700 cells. ;)

I am also an engineer and know the number of cells in each Tesla model. So how many cells in your eBike?
