    Creo Rattle

Bike rattles can be notoriously difficult to diagnose. Good Luck. Also I thought they had a 2-year warranty on everything but the frame carried a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner (only)

2022 Turbo Creo SL Expert EVO

Nice bike! You will love it. Range extended a plus for sure. Don't forget the dual charging cable. I've got the 2021 Turbo Creo Sl Carbon Comp EVO. I never had electronic shifting on any of my road bikes, so I never missed it and I picked mine up used, so I didn't have much choice anyway...

Garmin Edge (or Wahoo Elemnt Roam) and Specialized Turbo e-bikes [RESOLVED]

I use the Wahoo Bolt which l understand is now discontinued since the Roam came out. Works well connecting to the bike. There were some quirky things happening, e.g. occasionally freezing up. Wahoo support told me they were working on it and indeed that was eventually fixed. Always a challenge...

Price check on the Creo Carbon Evo

I paid a more for 2021 version of the same bike with similar mileage and several other items thrown in. I don't regret it for a minute. The one thing you might want too look at is the condition of the batteries. Not sure what it means if they've been sitting essentially unused for nearly two years.

    General Creo questions

Mine were placed in the "corners" where the bar bends back towards the stem. I like this placement as I usually ride on the hoods and can hit either one pretty easily with my respective thumbs. Regardless, it did take some getting used to.

    Ebikes….Cheating?

I got back from a 25-mile ride on my Creo SL yesterday and mentioned to my wife that I went longer than planned , but "used a lot of full power". Her comment was "Did you get a good workout? Did you sweat? Then stop talking about it!" 😍

    General Creo questions

I've got a 2006 full carbon Roubaix and the frame is still in great shape also. It's spent most of 2021 on my trainer and earlier this year the saddle rails broke. A lot easier to deal with getting home when already in the basement 🤣!

    Settings for Specialized Creo SL

Yeah Stefan, my fingers got way ahead of my brain there! LOL

    Settings for Specialized Creo SL

My remote buttons essentially have four settings, i.e. hitting the "decrease" from ECO takes you to assist level of OFF but the bike is still turned on if you want to quickly power back up . I didn't even know there was a way to go to OFF from the top tube, but had been wondering! Also I use a...

    Settings for Specialized Creo SL

Interesting. I bought a used Creo and these were installed in the opposite way from what you describe. Increase power is on the right, and decrease on the left. I don't find it to be a problem at all. And I would echo the comment of someone above regarding wanting a good workout. I took my...

    Ebikes….Cheating?

I bought an ebike because I enjoy the changes in scenery of longer rides and the ability to consistently ride faster. However my HRM tells me I'm putting in a meaningful effort and getting good exercise. What's "cheating" about that?

Specialized Creo (all models) - Longest Rides/Biggest Climbs

Love looking at all the data. I've had my Creo only about 3 weeks and 200 miles. Longest ride was 43mi. I also did one 31mi with 3000ft, most of which was in one 4.5 mile stretch. I could NOT have gotten up that hill without the assist. I'm still in the mode of "becoming one" with my bike. Lol...

What apps do you use while making a tour ?

Have you had any issues with the Elemnt freezing up during a ride? I've had my Creo all of a week and am still learning how to fiddle with all the settings. However the Elemnt (Bolt) has locked up mid-ride several times. MC seems to continue tracking, but to get it all to work I have to stop and...

Conventional Road Bike to Vado SL. Thoughts?

I will keep the details private other than to say I got a nice discount and the seller saved a bike shop consignment fee. Everybody wins. It was a Medium too so lucky me!

Conventional Road Bike to Vado SL. Thoughts?

I spent Saturday driving 900 miles round trip to purchase a very gently used Creo from a member of this site. I guess I made my decision! 😛

    Requesting assistance...which bike?

Bio, could you elaborate? (Sorry, newbie question) If you are used to 16-18 mph over long distances on a road bike, is 25 really a stretch on a SL that doesn't weigh that much more? Appreciate any perspectives. Thanks.

Conventional Road Bike to Vado SL. Thoughts?

Yes I expect I'll keep it. At a minimum, I still enjoy riding it on my trainer where it lives most of the time now. I will probably sell my Charge hybrid though. Had dinner with some Road riding friends on Friday and they are intrigued with the whole "fitness ebike" idea, so maybe I'll be...

Conventional Road Bike to Vado SL. Thoughts?

Thanks. This was from a Specialized-only dealer that wanted more $ to relocate from another one of their own stores. But they are not the only dealer in town.

Conventional Road Bike to Vado SL. Thoughts?

Yeah one dealer said that "official" supply was Zero, but there might be one in Denver and it would be another $200 shipping. Kind of ticked me off since they said they continued to expect supply to improve.. I'm not desperate at this point.
