    2023 Trek Domane+

37 lbs for my Carbon Frame Domane +HP . 2021 bike in a 58 cm frame. Oh, and my Trek, with mechanical shifter (rear derailleur only) was $6700 US. I thought that was expensive, but look at the prices for the new Domanes !

    2023 Trek Domane+

Well the 2023 Domane +SLR series has a 360 WH battery, versus 500WH for my Bosch powered Domane +HP. 2021 bike. Don't like the motor assist controls on the top tube. I like my Kiox display and control module buttons on left side of handlebar. Also, as mentioned, new TQ motor is only 50nm...

Ordered a new Domane HP today

I bought a Domane HP+ May 21st this spring. Wondered if I had the 85 Nm software upgrade for my Bosch Performance Line Speed motor. My software version for the motor is 1.0.2.0. I did ask the dealer to upgrade all the software, Kiosk, Battery, Motor before I picked up the bike. Got this email...

    Loving my Domane+ HP

One thing I thought to mention; for Domane owners. The short lever Trek gives you (first picture) to rotate the axles does not give you much leverage, if you have to remove a wheel for a flat tire.. Even with greased threads on the axle I had trouble removing the front axle to put my bike in a...

    Loving my Domane+ HP

Drodg, Interesting looking at the picture of your handlebars. I have my Kiox controller on the left side of the stem. That way I keep my right hand on the brake hood, ready to shift gears, or apply rear brake, while I shift E modes with my left thumb. See picture. How do most riders set this...

7 Problems in 14 Days Ownership: 2021 Trek Domane HP Electrical Bike You Should Avoid At All Cost

mrNoFluff, I have had a Trek Domane HP+ since May 21st this year. In order to get this bike in my frame size, 58 cm I had to take a 5 hour drive to Albany, NY. Dealership is Steiners. I took my bike shorts, shoes and a set of Speedplay pedals to test ride the bike. I also asked the dealership...

    Update on Domane HP ownership

Ok, thanks. So it's now in the proper "On" position, as shown. I thought the shifting was a bit wonky before. Now it seems to shift more precisely. I've never had a derailleur with a lever like this before. Oh, and Drodg, kickstand is off the bike frame now.

    Update on Domane HP ownership

What is the difference between having the "clutch" on or off , on the rear derailleur? Do you want the clutch off while removing the rear wheel? Clutch shown here, grey lever in the on position (red arrow). There is no separate manual for the bike frame itself. In fact the only manual I have...

My updated Trek Domane +HP review - now with 4565 miles on it

Still trying to get comfortable on the seat. Tempted to move an old Brooks saddle over to my Domane +HP. Right now I am riding it in Econ mode, then for steep , short hills go to Tour mode. Does switching pedal assist off, on a descent help with conserving the battery, or are you only using...

    Mirror Recommendations

Here is the bar end mirror I like, small and unobtrusive. It is convex, so you actually have quite a wide field of view. You can see it here, below my left hand riding on my Trek Domane +HP. It replaces the end cap on my handlebar tape. Brand is "Sprintech Racing" , made in Switzerland. If you...

    Update on Domane HP ownership

Did a short ride today, 14.6 miles. Half way out, I noticed dark clouds forming on my return route. So turned back early after exploring a gravel side road. With a total ride of 14.6 miles, Kiox indicates 86% of charge remaining. Picture below, from yesterdays ride, 26.4 mile loop. I now have...

    Update on Domane HP ownership

Just did a longer ride. 26.4 miles out and back, as I want to figure out my range in the real world. At the return point, I had gone 13.2 miles, mostly climbing with a head wind. From Full charge, start of ride, 85 mile range, at that point Kiox showed remaining range 75 miles . Return trip...

    Update on Domane HP ownership

No. Not tubeless yet. Need to put more rides on my bike. We have perfect weather here now for riding. Blue sky and temps in the mid 60's . Nice bike, the Domane. We are lucky to own one with all the delivery issues bike shops are having. Here is my Synapse, with Brooks saddle (nearly broken in...

    Update on Domane HP ownership

I bought a Domane +HP on Friday, May 21st, and have been following these forums for a while. Lots of info here, thanks. Found my Domane +HP at a bike shop, 4 1/2 hours away, near Albany New York. A long drive, there and back, but they had a 58 cm Domane in stock, and built, ready to test ride...
