Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

Deacon - did you ever get a new cassette and chain from WW? I thought I remembered you did. Was that no help with the skipping?

    Hydra tamed

The cassette and chain came from Watt Wagons. I don’t recall the exact size of the cassette but more narrow spacing than the 11-51 that had come originally on it. When I was looking it seemed impossible to get any Linkglide components from a US dealer and outside of the US Shimano dealers would...

    Magura EStop brake issue

Mine was not a bleeding issue though that’s what I originally assumed and there was 0 leakage - it was quite the mystery. It went from ‘working fine’ to ‘nothing’.

    Magura EStop brake issue

This is exactly what happened to my rear Magura brake as reported - just failed completely (while on the stand!). Ended up switching to Shimano as the wait for the Magura replacement was dragging on and on.

    Hydra tamed

Well, for those of you following my travails with the Hydra I am happy to report all seems sorted now. I finally got to get out and test the new system and components and all seemed very good indeed. Managed 30+ on smallest cog for an extended period with not a single slip, skip or pop. Shifts...

    Hydra drivetrain update and parts

8000>>8100>>8130 it’s been a journey 😉 but I appreciate all the info @loamoaf and others have provided. Just got the Hydra back with the new Shimano brakes, but it’s a pretty nasty snow day here in Colorado, so best I could do was a spirited ride up and down the two levels of my underground...

    Hydra drivetrain update and parts

Thanks but Magura owes me one for free under warranty as it lasted all of maybe two months of intermittent riding. I’m happy spending the money on the Shimano brake set-up anyway. New brakes, new display, new drivetrain, twist grip throttle, mullet wheels and still great motor! It is really my...

    Hydra drivetrain update and parts

I suppose a new Magura 5 rear brake will show up sometime - pretty soon I’ll have lots of excess parts for that next ebike build I guess 😉

    Hydra drivetrain update and parts

So after quite a while I believe I have my ‘skipping’ issue finally sorted on the Hydra (Magura brake failure has not helped testing time). The smaller cassette and new chain provided by WW was a big part of the solution. That combined with an upgraded Shimano derailleur has really solved the...

Getting on the Hydra band wagon

I’m right here in Colorado with my Hydra for the past few months and have been able to do quite a bit of trail riding until the Magura rear brake failed completely and has left me on the sideline for over a month now 🤬. I have a large frame with 27.5s though I now have a 29” in the front which...

What derailleur do you have? And what cassette? I guess I thought you were trying for belt? 🤷

Help Watt Wagons Out On Google Reviews

Is your point that not many bikes have been delivered so there would not be a lot of reviews or you only get reviews if you develop ‘new innovations’?
