I use BLEvo and Strava as well. I have an Apple watch but found the HR connection to BLEvo to be unreliable. I bought a cheap chest HR monitor on Amazon (paid around $40).
When I start a ride I fire up BLEvo and off I go. When I'm done with the ride, I end the ride in BLEvo and select "Upload...
I bought a Coospo chest strap HRM on Amazon for less than $40. Been using it for 4 months with MC and BLEvo. Connected to both in a heartbeat (excuse the pun). Works perfectly.
In preparation for winter I'm looking at getting a smart trainer for my Vado 4.0 2020. I've narrowed it down to the Wahoo Kickr Snap. I'd also use Zwift for rides.
Does anyone have any experience with this combination or any suggestions / feedback.
There's lots of info about the Wahoo Kickr...
Start Mission Control (connected to the bike) select Diagnose. The very 1st item is "System Status". If it has a green check everything is ok and no errors exist.
Thanks Brendon.
As far as bags are concerned, I have a RackTime Talis Plus trunk bag. What I was carrying did not fit in the trunk bag (height) to let me zipper it closed. I used the bungee to hold the trunk bag top down. I find this bag quite easy get on and off the bike but limited in what...
When you say "during the start of my morning ride" were you riding when this happened or as you turned the bike on? Check Mission Control Diagnostics to see if there are any messages.
On the weekend I was carrying a bag on my rear rack tied down with a bungee cord. I hit a bump and the bungee came loose and got caught in my rear wheel and tangled in the rear cassette. When this happened I hit the brakes hard to stop the rear wheel as quick as possible. I removed the bungee...
I had an issue that I got 4 punctures riding about 400km. These were on paved roads on my new bike which supposedly has puncture resistant tires. I have installed Tanus Armor inserts and have been puncture free since.
I see you have a trunk bag. If this is what you always have with you and where you carry your spares, you could add a small first aid kit, after bit, etc. I assume your tire repair kit includes a mini pump, CO2 canister and tire levers.
I have the same setup with my 2020 Vado 4.0. I bought an axle from Robert Axle Project. It worked perfectly and fits the bike and trailer hitch like a glove.

What about it did not work?
I have a 2020 Vado 4.0 as well. The issue I had was that it wrongly reported the battery capacity. It think it saw it as a 400wh battery instead of 500wh. I reported this to BLEvo and they released a new version that has fixed this.
@Stefan Mikes Unless I'm mistaken, SmartControl will provide assist to ensure you have a predetermined remaining battery charge after a predetermined distance.
BLEvo Smart HR will use your heart rate to determine what assist to provide. This and BLEvo Smart Power are good for fitness training...
I use the BLEvo app. It’s like Mission Control on steroids. You are able to adjust the assist on the fly. Also it has a “Smart Power” mode. With this you tell the app how much rider power (in watts) it should allow. If your power is too low it’ll back off the assist % automatically and if the...
