RST Asteria Air Suspension 80mm Travel

Thanks for this discussion. I am completely new to suspension forks, so a basic question: is the fork all-or-nothing? That is, you can either lock it out or have suspension at whatever level it's set at (discussed above)?

    LMT'D Review: First Impressions

Hi all, I originally posted this review on the Ride1Up eBike Owners Facebook Page on 9/29, but I thought I'd repost here for those who aren't on Facebook. Two weeks after my review, I wouldn't change it all. Thanks for reading. --- I ordered my LMT'D on 6/7 and received it on 9/16. The...

Lmt'd standard version vs step through

Where are you in WNC? I'm in Asheville and expecting my LMT'D sometime in the next week or two. Maybe we can go for a ride once we settle in with these beasts.

    New LMT’d - who’s in?

Just ordered a LMT'D and I'm ridiculously excited. @Lumpydog, thanks for the recommended accessories. I'm leaning heavily toward the Suntour seat post. Everyone else who's waiting: please keep us posted when you get your bike! Would love to hear your report.

    Front fork: necessary or no?

Appreciate the recommendations. The Suntour is about half the cost, and its reviews are excellent, so that appeals. On a different thread a poster said he was also going to get the Suntour and a tube adapter, since none of the NCX12 sizes seem to match the LMT'D's Promax 400mm x 30.8mm post. Any...

    Front fork: necessary or no?

Thanks! I'm really excited. August can't come soon enough. Anything to make 2020 a bit brighter . . .

    Front fork: necessary or no?

I just pulled the trigger on the Ride1Up LMT'D. Felt good . . . real good. Even if it's not shipping until August. I really didn't want to spend more than $1,500 because I knew I'd also want a suspension seatpost and a (good) bike stand. And if I can't figure out how to put the damn thing...

    Front fork: necessary or no?

Actually, I just saw that the espin Sport is on sale for $1,199 (down from $1,699). EBR's review is mostly positive, and in another thread comparing the RadCity to the Sport, the poster said the sport was much more comfortable and easy to handle. I like the lower weight, the integrated lights...

    Front fork: necessary or no?

I'm ready to buy a new e-bike and I've been wondering how necessary a front fork is. My budget is about $1,500, and after some research I've narrowed my list down to the RadCity, Ride1Up 500 series, and Aventon Pace 500 (which doesn't have a fork). I have on and off again lower back pain--not...
