Sometimes when I hit a big pothole the bike will show an error (could be 606 -- sorry don't know) and turn off for 1-2 seconds. Then it comes back without me doing anything. I assume the battery is moving and temporarily disconnecting.

I hope to one day "wear out" my battery ... what a bummer it would be if I spent so much on this bike and didn't use it. I charge mine to 100%, but I'm mindful to charge it only before I use it. At first, I would charge at work... that way I would never go more than four hours or so with it...

I cannot answer your question about the blocked light sensor... but If the light is blinking and you want it to stop -- just turn the high beam on and off.

2020 Allant+ 8s. My LBS modified the light to be turn-affable by holding down the + button. I never turn it off. Sometimes my headlight is blinking (vs steady on). Anyone know how it decides to blink or stay on steady? Is there an ambient light sensor? Or maybe my wiring is loose 😬

I have a 2020 Allant+ 8s. My commute is 10 miles each way. I've taken my bike to work everyday since I got it 6 weeks ago. If I ride in "turbo" mode at ~24MPH average speed, I use 30% of my battery each way. If I ride in "eco" mode at ~15 MPH, I use 10% of my battery each way.
