Rear mounted kickstands like the Greenfield Stabilizer are becoming more and more popular in the MTB crowd and work well. The one that comes on the RR seemed to work well in the limited time I used it before I removed it to mount the trailer.

Actually I think the simple answer is to cut a slot into the trailer bracket, turning the "O" into a "C". The slot is just wide enough to let the wire for the motor slide through, and then mount it to the axle as intended.

Lynnandj - here is a pic of how I have the trailer connect for now. This is not the permanent solution, but it works well for now.

Pxpaulx - I meant it was a slog going uphill with my daughter in the trailer without electric assist. The bike on its own rides fine without electric assist. So far I've been riding with the pedal assist mostly at 1 or 2 and not even using the higher settings.

They're here! Here's mine. I've swapped the saddle to brown, but not done the grips yet. It rides better than the demo bike did, primarily because the brakes are better adjusted. No long rides yet, but I'm quite happy.

I spoke with Mike Yesterday. The container should have arrived yesterday or today, but they probably won't get their hands on it till Monday. Then bikes should start shipping out next week.

I talked with Mike this afternoon. The shipper container is expected to arrive in Seattle next Thursday, the 18th. They think they'll be able to get the bikes from the Port on Monday the 22nd and start shipped them out. Since I'm right next to them, I expect to have mine on the 22nd or 23rd.
