I got a Vado 5 for the Vado 4 (2017). First they offered me the Vado 4, but after I told about de downgraded components on the new Vado 4 they offered the Vado 5. Very happy with this deal :)

Got a call Saturday and two calls today, all from my LBS. I'm getting a new Vado 5 to replace my Vado 4 (model 2017). We came out on the Vado 5 because the new Vado 4 has different parts than the Vado 4 2017. Great how the LBS and specialized dealt with this.

The Motor of my Vado got lose on the front. The mount on the back is cracked. I'm now waiting on my LBS for the solution.

The other display will indeed be available in a few weeks. This is indicated as the solution to get the app working. I have not been told that there are costs involved here. That would not be correct either because the bike was sold with a working app.

I asked Specialized Ridercare NL / BE for new information about the app. They answer: We are pleased to announce that a solution has been found for the Vado 4.0 with a view to a working mission control app. You can use your bike to your dealer, so that they can give us a suitable follow-up.

In the Nederlands the same signal. In february the app available. But there must be made a modification on the bike to get it working.

This the answer Specialized told me today: 'The Vado app for Andriod has unfortunately been postponed due to the fact that a big mistake has been found. Unfortunately, no clear deadline is currently given when it will become available'.

I've seen de Vado app in Beta. They said it will come this month, first Android. Apple will be later. So i'll hope we will get it in May.

My LBS said it is possible with a standard cable. My Nexus 5x and Samsung A5 showes the pictogram the're loading, but the power is low. It takes some time to give 1% more battery
