Thank you for the info...i unfortunately could not get past security code on display and now putting new controller and accessories on it....it is such a well laidf out bike i feel compelled to get it going again

This may not go with this post completely but in my area gas powered bikes are huge and are becoming a nuance to most people by those riders ignoring all traffic laws and common sense....if it continues,local police are pushing for more regulation for all powered bikes

I gave up on my stock controller and display and purchased one from RisunMotor..... controller, cdisplay,brake levers...speed sensor,twist throttle with meter/lock and pad sensor.......25amp 12 mosfet.......I could not find any other company that had a complete system .....price was digestible...

Ha...great story.....what we will do to chase a girl in our younger days!!!... Because the bike does seem so well built is why i am attempting to resurrect it as is but also looking into just a new controller and accessories and call it done but that brings me down another road i have never...

As ebikes are new to me so is the use of this fourm for guidance and help....so anything that helps will ne looked upon as such. I will try to clean up postings for better help

Took display apart and found reset buttons hidden under lcd display....ran self diagnostic and it sermed to show all good,now i need to figure how to overide pin code or reset it....almost there....

Sooo..stay with me here, total noon about all things ebike but on y mystery bike I wondered about mosfet count......I believe my controller has 12 mosfet but not quite sure.....there are 6 groups of 2 in a row down one side of controller....what does mosfet count have to due with controller...

Right. .. .need code to activate motor. Have temp battery pac and display powers up with power button, lights work and brake lights but motor power locked out....hate to change controller and display because the original is very neet looking...head light and display integrated into one housing...

Just reading where some people talk about having different voltage batteries for their bikes and it understanding the thought behind that.....I will just empower with proper voltage if I continue with this project...thank you for reply though

I have limited info on bike....given to me by local bike shop going out of business, story is a guy dropped bike off to have some work done then never paid for anything or came back....2 years later shop is closing and I stopped in and ended up adopting this orphan. Electric Vehicle...

The hub motor has a tag that states 36v....is that a number i have to follow or is it all in controller

1-5 are options on code...tried all simple ones and no luck .....unfortunately manufacturer is a lost nugget of info but i would beleive there is a secret code to override but just as mysterious....hate to have to get new display and controller but that is probably my only route short of...

Can i put a 48v battery in a bike that came equipped with a 36v,??... can i go higher

Any ideas how to break passcode on ebike controller with lost history??display has a 4 digit code to unlock and activate motor controller.....bike was evidently manufactured off planet and no resident aliens will divulge secrets..EVT is manufacturer...vvx-1 is model....36volt brushless hub motor
