Can find no info on Electric Vehicle Technologies, inc VVX-1 36v ebike....story it was a US Army surplus......no battery

Interesting it has a VIN number. The date code seems to indicate it was built in 2003. The Shimano derailleur and SRAM shifters are certainly of that year.
 
Yes....the VIN# i found interesting....do ebikes normally have vins.....i was told that the bike may have been in development with input from US Army but did not put much into that.....i temped power into controller(12v) and dashboard came alive...lights and accessories worked....odometer showed 300miles

No, because bicycles are not considered (motor) vehicles.

Yeah, without documentation it's just a tall tale. Maybe if you get it you can take it onto Antiques Roadshow and let them tell you about it? :p
 
Hhhhmmmm....maybe they can give me so info on it because no one in the bike world can shed any light on this pig......i will get a battery and see if it works and go from there...thanks for the input
 
Took "dashboard" apart....it is from a co.called MPC bike.....atleast that is on circut board on a couple different tags
