    RadMini update soon??

Hi murbot I wouldn't be so quick to give up the Rover for a Mini. With a little time, you may find a better appreciation for what you already have. I have both and learned how each will behave in various types of the rough terrain that is a playground out here in the west. One first needs to...

Regular Rad mini vs mini step thru?

Hi Wee Moy, There have been some improvements since I bought my Minis. They have returned to using knobbies and they provide better traction. But everything has their limits, which I have found a few times. Riding on good solid surfaces should help keep you riding safely. Happy Trails...

    RadMini update soon??

You may be onto something because RAD is at least contemplating changes in the RADMini. I know this because they recently sent out a questionnaire to Mini buyers asking for suggestions for changes. With the latest updates in the RADCity that really improved that bike, it's not inconceivable that...

6'2" and wanting to comfortably pedal on a RadMini Step-Thru v2 - Doable?

350 mm x 27.2 mm Some seat posts may be too long and bottom out leaving the seat too high to ride comfortably. RPB could solve some problems for overweight riders by using heavier stock for the seat post. As is, the safety line is up near the center of the post, so several inches of post are...

6'2" and wanting to comfortably pedal on a RadMini Step-Thru v2 - Doable?

LOL Now I'm really jealous! RPB just lowered the price on both RADMini models permanently by $200. For those looking for an e-bike and don't get the regular notices from RAD Power Bikes, this is a real steal at $1300 when considering the pricing on most everything else is increasing. When I...

This video suddenly appeared on Youtube. It was posted last year.

6'2" and wanting to comfortably pedal on a RadMini Step-Thru v2 - Doable?

Hi CT-Scott, I think the RADMini ST is an excellent purchase. I stand just under 6' and as you probably read in my posts, switched to the cushioned seat post along with a Cloud 9 seat. We have roads full of pot holes and the extra cushioning really helps. The accessory cushioned seat post is...

Regular Rad mini vs mini step thru?

Owning both models I have run them both through the course, on road and off, and have found some differences. Although power and drive are equal, these are dual purpose bikes that are perfectly at home whether riding on dry pavement or travelling down a backwoods dirt road. It's the handling...

Jones bar and Mini step through

You are welcome, BGsnmky. Standard size grips fit right onto the H-Bars. Taylor57 asked: Is that a CB radio on the back? Nope, there is a reflector at the tip of what looks like a CB radio antenna. Used to see a lot of them in the Palm Springs area in the days when it was sheik for everyone...

Jones bar and Mini step through

Usually follow up questions not directed to anyone in particular go to the original poster first, with all respects. Maybe he's not getting the New Post notice, so I'll answer since two of the last three posts partially pertain to me using Jones H-Bars. Riding and racing thru the SoCal desert...

Solid-looking new Fenix bike headlight ...

Captain Ron posted his comments while I was doing an intensive study of the available bicycle headlights. I would agree that Fenix products are best suited since they offer several styles to choose from whether powered by internal rechargeable batteries or using replaceable rechargeable...

    Just ordered a RR5!

2017 RADRover review on the southern Baja beaches. The topography shown in this video is so similar to the Mojave Desert it was the review that convinced me I need a RADRover. RPB dropped the $175 fee for shipping soon after this review, so I ordered one and at that time wasn't being forced...

Which model is better off road? Mini or Rad step thru?

That's right up my alley down here in the SoCal Mojave Desert. When I retired at 70 I had already decided to get a fat bike, and was even more determined when I found out there were electric fat bikes. So I bought a RADRover, sight unseen, didn't know beans about them and when they dropped the...

RPB RADMINI STEP-THRU - CYCLE OR SCOOT

Why Won't My Over-Priced New Bike Rack Fit On My Bike? There are a few reasons, the main reason being a result of non-existent or slack quality control inspection in the shop contracted to build the racks. The drilled and threaded connection points are also a responsibility of the distributor...

RPB RADMINI STEP-THRU - CYCLE OR SCOOT

Hi Driftway, Check out these reviews from EBR. Standover height is about the same for both. The difference is that you can bring down the seat and with the added accessory seat can make a bench seat. I remember he did mention the driver could sit back and still reach the pedals, but forget the...

Rad Mini StepThru, Sizeing re Handlebar Height

I mentioned it in my handlebar mod I just finished posting on page 2 of my RADMini ST review thread. https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/rpb-radmini-step-thru-cycle-or-scoot.28024/page-2

THE EAS‪IEST EVER RADMINI HANDLEBAR FIX - THE DELUXE VERSION To clear up any possible confusion about what spinning the stem 180 degrees means: There are 360 degrees in a complete circle. If you spin something completely all the way around and stop at its original position, then you have spun...

Rad Mini StepThru, Sizeing re Handlebar Height

Hi Driftway, Glad the review was of some help. I've got four different RAD ebikes and did a review for each. The Mini ST seems to be the most popular, but I love 'em all! I have another extended stem I was thinking of installing so I'll do that and take some pictures and write some instructions...

2019 RadMini - Rear Rack Install Help

Better to not modify anything. I had the same situation and had to bring it down a couple of inches for the bolt holes to line up. Used a big strong screwdriver that works like a prybar and leaned on it to line it all up. Stay with it. Persistence will pay off.

RPB RADMINI STEP-THRU - CYCLE OR SCOOT

LOL. Hi HJ19, Not everyone has a mechanical background. I've been rebuilding car and truck engines and all sorts of motorcycle engines all my life - not as an occupation, but just in my spare time. I have a collection of tools and a place to work on these things that many people don't have...
