You wont see any difference for at least a month. Probably closer to 3 months for a 1% drop. Also they drop a little faster in hot weather versus cold.

I have bad knees too. This was my choice. It has a cadence sensor so it apply's power as soon as you pedal. It also has a throttle that I added on and purchased from Raleigh.

I think I would rather have a Juice CCX than the Evelo. But that's just me because it's faster, more power and bigger battery.
