Trail / Step Through FLX questions

Thank you for taking the time to post this - definitely good to know. Don't think I want to get involved with this company... I do hope you get your motor noise issue resolved - please post if so.

    Throttle from a dead stop?

I'm curious to hear how this will be accomplished, so please update us here as you learn the details. It is still ambiguous to me if a Stepthrough is purchased now if it will already have this programming (ie not have the 6mph issue on throttle) or will need to be "patched" with the software etc...

    Throttle from a dead stop?

Good news. Please report back what you learn regarding programming the FLX m600 / display units. Thanks!

    Throttle from a dead stop?

This from FLX support email I received yesterday: -- Thank you for reaching out to FLX! Sorry we missed you on chat. The M600 motors are equipped with the metal gears and do not have a brake sensor. You must be going at least 6mph before the throttle will engage, everything on the Trail and...

Trail / Step Through FLX questions

I'd reached out to FLX with a few questions and thought I'd post their response here: ---------- Thank you for reaching out to FLX! Sorry we missed you on chat. Trail / Step Through FLX questions

A few questions for owners of the newest (current) FLX bikes (G3? F3? Not sure what the nomenclature on these bikes is...) 1- Are the "FLX" letters and the website address on the bike stickers (removable) or painted on? 2- Do the bikes have brake lever motor cut-out switches (when you squeeze...

The FLX Blade - Solid FUN!

I know this is an older thread, but I've been considering the FLX bikes (m600 and the Ultra motor bikes), and I currently have a Juiced Ripcurrent S. I noticed you had (or maybe still have) a Juiced, but not sure if it has the torque sensor like the current ones do (it is an electronic sensor...

Torque sensor mid-drive bikes with throttle (or bikes you can add throttle to) ?

My Juiced bike throttle will work the same way in any PAS mode - up to 20mph, then it stops applying power via the throttle. The motor assists if you are pedaling up to 30+ mph or so on a full charge, 28 or so nominally (52v battery). So I'm not sure what "mode 0" is, but you say you get full...

Torque sensor mid-drive bikes with throttle (or bikes you can add throttle to) ?

What do you mean that the throttle does not override till full power? It appears that the newer (current) FLX bikes throttle works from a stand still (as the older ones apparently did not), and that you can use throttle to the max speed the motor will attain (around 28 for the Trail or...

    Throttle from a dead stop?

I'm considering an FLX bike with an M600 as well. So on all the currently shipping m600 bikes (step through and Trail) , the throttle works from a stop (which is key to assisting those with knee issues from a stop or slowed speed)? Also, throttle only speed is limited to 20mph or can that be...

Torque sensor mid-drive bikes with throttle (or bikes you can add throttle to) ?

I'd love to try one. The Frey bikes, Juggernaut, M2S, Quiet Kat (overpriced) etc... all look interesting. I'd love to see the differences between these and my Juiced. M2S is not too far from a place I go occasionally, so maybe I could test ride one of their Ultra 1000w bikes or I think they have...

Torque sensor mid-drive bikes with throttle (or bikes you can add throttle to) ?

Does the m600 have a torque sensor like the Ultra?

Torque sensor mid-drive bikes with throttle (or bikes you can add throttle to) ?

Was looking to get some info on what's out there in a non-serious MTB or "trekking / adventure / trail" type bike (moderate off-road ability as well as street use) that has a mid-drive / torque sensor but also a throttle (or can be modded with a throttle possibly). I ended up buying a Juiced...

Occasional clunking on RipCurrent - Bottom bracket?

So the sporadic clunking I could feel / hear in the drive train was definitely due to the rear wheel / motor. Mine developed a bad bearing which made a terrible racket (I don't think this was related to the clunking - totally different noises, and the occasional clunking was there from day 1...

    Convert RCS to Hyperfat ?

On casual inspection, it looks like the 2 bikes are the same except for: 1) Rear wheel / motor 2) Speed controller 3) Tires Anything else different? Wouldn't want the slicks, but might consider the extra power an interesting option. I'd say the Hyperfat 1100 ought to have better brakes given...

RCS - Specific gear feels "gritty"

Just had a new rear wheel assembly sent to my by Juiced to replace the original that had developed an issue. After installation (which took care of the free hub / bearing issues the other one had) I noticed that 3rd gear has a kind of gritty feel to it - like it is slightly out of adjustment...

Major issue with 1 month old Juiced RCS - Video Attached - Bad bearings in rear wheel / motor ??

New rear wheel arrived yesterday, and the clacking while pedaling seen in the video I linked is gone. Just hope it stays that way for a lot longer than the 140 miles the first one lasted. Motor part of it seems same as before (which is to say good, quiet, smooth etc...) but I seem to notice...

CCX - Front fork vibrating upon braking

I have a Rip Current S - same exact vibration / noise in the brakes. Esp. the front one. If I understand others' comments correctly, changing to organic material brake pads should help or possibly eliminate the noise. Mine are really bad if they get wet - stopping power goes from fair to poor.

Occasional clunking on RipCurrent - Bottom bracket?

Yes - I bought a set of pedals with better bearings (the stock ones had some play and I could make them make a noise by manipulating them by hand), and I think every now and then those stock pedals did make a noise while actually riding. But as I mentioned, in my case I think I had the sporadic...

Occasional clunking on RipCurrent - Bottom bracket?

Mine developed into a really noticeable racket - Juiced sent a replacement rear wheel. Should arrive this week. I think I had multiple sources of noise. The occasional clunking I think was a different issue than the other racket that developed in the freewheel or bearings of the rear wheel /...
