National Locater For Trek E Bikes?

Is there a national (USA) locating system for finding a specific model and size of a Trek E bike? I'm Looking for a Domane+ HP in 56cm. Local Trek dealer didn't seem interested beyond "maybe around Christmas 2022".

Rode the Specialized Turbo Creo SL Comp

Thanks. I guess that's the result of the manufacturer being in another country.

Rode the Specialized Turbo Creo SL Comp

I can't see how one would "align" a chain on a single chainring. Do you mean "clock" the links on the chainring as depicted on the sticker?

Frame Sizing - Turbo Creo SL Comp E5

791mm is 31.14 inches. Agreed it, does seem a little high for a "small" frame.

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

Has anyone got any info on the 2021 Creo SL Carbon Comp re changes and availability? I thought I read somewhere that 2021 versions would have mode selector switches on the handlebars. Is that the only changes for 2021 models and when they might be available? My LBS has 2020 models, I wonder...

Turbo Creo owners: is the Creo your only road bike, or do you feel you still love your analog bike(s)?

I could never give up riding these or any of their stable mates. E-bikes are great but there's something about an old steel race bike that can't be matched.

Turbo Creo gearing. Do you need/want a higher gear?

A 46x11 is a 110 inch gear; at 110 rpm that's right at 36 mph. I have a smaller "big gear" on my analog race bikes and never find myself looking for more (50x12, 108 inches).

Giant Road E+ review and questions

The Giant Road E + is on my short list. What kind of trouble have you had that the bikes had to be replaced? I may need to look at the Yamaha.

Five Time TDF Winner on E-Road Bike

For me, the one area where the pedal assist system holds an edge over a throttle bike is target HR training. The pedal assist system can be programed to assist/lightly assist/ or not assist based on the entered/desired HR zone for that training session. Today would be a good example of that...

Five Time TDF Winner on E-Road Bike

Five time TDF winner Bernard Hinault helped design Look's new E-Road Bike. One more reason roadies are going to accept E-bikes for the asset they are. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/bernard-hinault-endorses-new-look-e-765-optimum-e-road-bike/

    Lynskey E-Bike Announced

I'm ok with an external battery pack for additional frame integrity. And....truth be told I have to give them credit for at least trying. But wow, that price to go 20mph is steep.

    Lynskey E-Bike Announced

NINE GRAND and it has the motor that will only go 20mph. I can make a bike go 20mph, I want class 3 power/speed or forget it. I knew they'd be over priced but that's ridiculous. https://lynskeyperformance.com/gr-270e-gravel-e-bike/

Let's Develop a cycling club policy on e-road bikes

It's a bike, but it has an electric motor to assist it. But for handling skills, it's no different than riding with a group of Cat 1s & 2s. As a former road racer, I'd welcome the chance to ride with someone on an E-Road Bike (provided their paceline skills are consummate with the group). He...

    28 mph is FAST!

One of the big reasons an E-bike may feel unsettling at highers speeds, say 28 mph for instance, is because the rider of an E-bike may not have enough time on task at those speeds. A trained road cyclist will put in many hours at that speed on flat ground in training rides and racing with...

    Lynskey E-Bike Announced

There are some very good points above ^ for E Road bikes with drop bars. It's true, some people have flexibility issues and can't or don't prefer to ride bikes with drop bars. For me, an E Road bike would fit right into my 6 day a week training program. It would allow me to train 6 days a...

    Lynskey E-Bike Announced

I wonder how much this will be?? I wouldn't be a buyer with the CX motor. I could be tempted with the performance motor that goes 28 mph. I wonder if it will be an option...

    Police ebike in Russia

Thanks for the link JRA, I'll explore it further. The 48 vs 36v thing makes sense now. I'll do some more research as the conference in Fort Worth is coming up pretty quick. I'll have to see if I can find a list of the E-bike vendors that will be attending. As far labeling nomenclature. Is...
