Thanks for the write up, with pictures. That "captive washer" is probably a torque arm to help prevent the motor from twisting in the frame.

Lectric XP Ride and Range Reports

I suspect mine will travel thousands of miles on the first charge. The second charge will likely be less miles, but more fun ;) I'd guestimate 10-60 miles, depending on how you use it.

    Lectric XP Review

I'd like you to do a review. Maybe comment on if this was a game changer, or just another variant on a theme. It is too late for me, but I'd like your thoughts about this ebike, compared to others. Thanks

    Lectric XP

You are mean! I was starting to think my bike might be on the front porch ;) Honestly I'm still guessing my early Spetember bike will arrive before the end of the month. This weekend I have to prep the snow blower for another season. It sure would be fun to play with my bike toy instead.

    Lectric XP Review

The problem with the KevCentral reviews is he started with an pre-production model. Then modified it. Who knows what we will end up with. I suspect it will change every month as they work toward the real production model. Brent's review said there should be a stand below the crank to support the...

    Lectric XP

I'm worried that the cranks might have been installed backwards. Isn't one supposed to be left thread, and other right thread? If they did that wrong, the pedals will unwind. On a regular bike pedals will always get tighter. That might not be true on an e-bike Note to self: make sure the crank...

    Where's My XP?

It does give me a new interpretation of shipping. I'm pretty sure my bike is in a ship someplace in the ocean

    Where's My XP?

You are correct! Perhaps I misread when I ordered. Typical consumer error. Or maybe they have changed the wording. I'm still in and waiting patiently ;)

    Where's My XP?

I ordered mid August #39xx. Stated "early September delivery". I expect my bike to be delivered in September. If it is not, I'll watch the 60 day credit card limit on contesting payments. Then decide. If I do not have the bike by the end of September. I might cancel order (so others can get...

    Where's My XP?

I think a big part of this is how the consumer reads things, and how Lectric does, and how they differ. When I place an order for "early September delivery", I expect to receive it in early September. Preferably very early September. When Lectric says "early September delivery" I think that is...

Lectric XP - does the frame match the rear hub?

Lectric XP - does the frame match the rear hub? I posted this in the "other brands" forum, but it seems to have been left behind when the new forum was formed. https://electricbikereview.com/forum/threads/lectric-xp-does-the-frame-match-the-rear-hub.29676/ So I thought I'd start it again...

    Lectric XP Review

That is a good review. Thanks for sharing. I've already ordered one, waiting patiently, but I still like seeing reviews of the bike ;).

I'm probably not going to comment on this product again until I actually get one. Could be only a week or two. If I'm lucky

Lectric XP - does the frame match the rear hub?

Lectric XP - does the frame match the rear hub?

    Could that be problem solved?

Lectric XP - does the frame match the rear hub?

http://www.ebikeschool.com/install-hub-motor-washers/ If you don’t have extra room on the axle, your torque washer can go on the outside of the dropouts.
