Reach out to Exess bikes. They have a Bafang ultra bike that is pretty great. they can recommend something with throttle too.

Curious - has EBR come up with the same issue on other bikes ? I am absolutely sure that all bikes with dual batteries (anything other than Bosch) - e.g. from Frey, Biktrix, Luna (if and when they offer dual) has the same issue. We are in kind of unchartered territories here due to the list...

Now that is disappointing. Bosch could do so much better. Any chance you can swap the motor to something that actually goes to 28 or slightly higher easier ?

Of all things being done so far you are disappointed in carrying 4 keys? Come on. :rolleyes: You are already carrying 2 batteries, a water bottle, your charger, the extra locks...... stop being disappointed for carrying an extra key. Get real. Keep the key in the bag on the front rack.

Incredible @Ayl you are getting some damn impressive range. Just extrapolating - 80% gets you 50 miles, so on the 880Wh pack you should expect around 60 miles on full charge cycle (draining all the way to 0). That is also my number at the moment. phenomenal.

I wish someone would make a FS commuter bike for smaller riders (i am 5'8").. the Frey reach is too long for me. There is a HUGE market for FS commuter ... I would be happy to buy that in addition to the UC Pro if someone built it. Are you listening @pushkar :) p

@TomD how is the Frey CC for commuting ? I think the geometry is closer to trail style.. however with rear rack, that is a great combination. Even with chain, its not a bad thing.

With archon x1, Broadly speaking you did ~ 42 miles with 712 wh (81% of 880wh pack). That’s roughly 17wh/ mile. With stock controller Under same conditions you got at 27 mile range, it would be 26wh/ mile. So you are getting (26-17)/26=35% more efficiency than stock. That is crazy awesome...

Doesn’t Luna do programming for suuron? They even sell the rebadged golden motor for Surron. That’s the easiest thing to do if I were Luna. Raw performance with a fairly reasonable controller from ASI. I don’t believe it is super hard to program Golden Motor. The stock stuff is pretty great.

@bogus I just read this. I also saw a couple of other users on ES warning you to stay away from personal attacks. Same policy will apply here. I looked at the site and looks like WW has removed the 1100Wh text. Looks like an acceptable compromise ... may be you would call this a win for us...
