Lbs refuses service due to insurance?

I'm pretty good friends with the owner of one local ebike shop owner and he said he refuses to work on ebikes he didn't sell because 1: He doesn't have the software to trouble shoot them and he sees no sense in throwing parts at a problem. And 2: Its only him, he really doesn't have time to work...

    Music Junkies?

I thought this thread title was Midi Junkies! I love me some Atari Teenage Riot. But on topic, I don't listen to any music while on 2 wheels. To many things trying to kill me when on the road! I need to be totally aware of my surroundings-sight AND sound. Now I used to be into high end audio...

Would you want cost $799 for A2 folding ebike?

This AiPAS company is a straight Lectric clone! Not sure if that's good or bad but a few of their clones offer a few upgrades as well. Watch the A6-D unboxing video. Wonder if the programming is the same as Lectric?

Would you want cost $799 for A2 folding ebike?

Of all the ebikes I've owned Juiced had nonexistent customer support. I ended up trashing the Rip Racer I had (thread is on here somewhere). Just gave up trying to deal with Juiced. I feel any DTC ebike can be a nightmare to deal with should something go wrong. No local shops in my area will...

Would you want cost $799 for A2 folding ebike?

Just don't even have a problem or question about a Juiced. You'll NEVER get a response via email or a person on the phone.

Bike that can carry an extra rider

I had a Cero One for a minute and it featured staggered sized tires. This one was weird in that it had the larger wheel in the rear but I will say it rode very nice. Now I prefer my wheels the same size to simplify inner-tube inventory and tire selection.

Bike that can carry an extra rider

My quick take on smaller wheels, they seem more stable and keep the load lower. My wife and I test rode the Pedego cargo bike. Great quality but it rode like it had a broken hinge in the middle, and it wasn't a folder. The 26" wheels seemed to flex and I know the frame had a bit of flex as well...

Bike that can carry an extra rider

And I was just getting ready to buy another Lectric! I really want to see a Globe in-person. Specialized backed as well. My question to myself: Quit playing with cheaper ebikes (that I've had good luck with) and step up to something premium OR stay with a Xpedition since I really don't ride as...

    10 miles with a 36 volt 10 AH battery.

Also, might sound trivial, but check your tire pressure.

    10 miles with a 36 volt 10 AH battery.

How old is the ebike in question? Sometimes you have to cycle a new battery a few times to get the most out of it. But judging by the low 36 volt and 10 Ah capacity of the battery 10 miles seem to make sense at full speed. Oh, and mid-drive of hub? That makes a difference as well. On my old...

Battery Charging and Storage Options in the Heat!

Oh boy, my situation: Inside my garage it'll get to 110F! And with our recent heatwaves this has been ongoing for a few days now. I use a box fan and aim it across the enclosed battery of the Lectric XP. This horrible storage method is used because of the difficulty in easily removing the...

    Fulfilling a dream

I second Slaphappy! Awesome work! I tried and I might try again to reach out to the old/ex girlfriend for food truck advice. She's still out there with her BBQ truck.

Help choosing my first ebike !

Our local oceanfront had an event and Raleigh supplied some ebikes for staff to use during the event. Those things took a beating during that event! A bunch of kids going off curbs, jumping them, riding double-even triple, getting dropped/crashed. Kids and ebikes, what a fun combo! Raleigh left...

    Is Sondors next?

The Sondors guy can go partner with Elio Motors. Another company that takes deposits and spends it on personal stuff. My friend got screwed out of $1000 on the Elio scam.

Lock combo for Turbo Vado 4

Most of those Abus frame locks also have a slot to add a chain as well. The level of security the frame lock provides will determine what size chain the slot will accept. Also note: Some frame locks require you to leave the key IN the lock while riding. I prefer the removable key myself...

An Ebike for My Better Half?

Is she a bicycle enthusiast? I ask this because I purchased a ebike for my wife as a surprise and the surprise got me! My wife said NOPE! If your wife shows a genuine interest in a ebike I "think" a Lectric XP accommodates riders down to her size, but you'll have to flip the handlebar tube...

a little hot on the ride home.

I rode to work on my motor scooter as much as possible. Yesterday was 104 heatwave with a 78 dew point and it was horrible! I was sweaty by the time I arrived to work, just by plopping my chubby butt on a seat and twisting a throttle. That was a long 14 mile commute. I got mugged by the...

Ergonomic adjustment / suspension stem for Gazelle bike?

Slightly off subject but my wrist get hurting on any ride over 50 miles on anything 2 wheels. I use Grip Puppies on my scooter if going far and those plush foamy Grab On grips on my bmx bike. I've had mixed results with suspension stems on bicycles, nothing good enough (yet) to make try more brands.

    Two E-bikes?

I have a Lectric XP 3.O. I might also get a Lectric Xpedition. Keeping them the same brand keeps it simple for me. My wife likes riding on the back of the XP but I have the notify her if I intend to pedal or I clip her knees with my heals. Additionally, the extra passenger kit makes folding the...

VERY disappointed with my new 2023 Specialized Turbo Como 3.0

When I purchased my first ebike, a Pedego, the shop told me to take it out as long as I wanted. All day if needed. So I took it out for most of the day because the shop gave me a lock to use as well. I went bar hopping on it! I bought another ebike (E-Lux) from the same shop and he said the same...
