Congratulations, did you go with the Allant+ 7 lowstep?

Help me pick which Specialized Turbo to get -- thanks!

It is super hard to decide when you like both choices :) Many suggest that you will likely ride more than you expect so it is nice to have a bike to grow into. I would say if you are expecting to ride more on smooth roads go for the como, if you think you may be on rougher terrain then the...

    Trek Powerfly 5 FS 2021

I am in love with that FS 9, and I haven't even ridden it😁

    Love my Allant+7 BUT...

My bike, bought in August. +7s Stagger. It is the only Allant I have seen in person. I have made no changes. I did ask about getting the handlebars a little higher and my lbs said I may have to do something with the brake cable because it may not have more give. It's pretty awesome. I am...

Any Trekkers using a spare battery to extend your range and hows it working?

Your bike is always gorgeous, and you make some valid points. For myself, I am hoping that carrying a second battery will preserve asthetics, though obviously at the cost of function. Hmmm

    Love my Allant+7 BUT...

@Dallant that doesn't make any sense. They both have a suspension fork. The difference is in the speed. Does yours have the adjustable stem?

OK, Allant owners, what is this stay for?

Sweet, I was just going to order one. We need the larger one.

    Love my Allant+7 BUT...

I can definitely see the value of having the same bike with the same components. I would love my husband to ride with me but he is far more into things with bigger motors, i.e. dirtbikes. Would sharing an extra battery help with the lack of range extender option on the low step?

    Love my Allant+7 BUT...

My bike was 3600 which is about 300 different than the original listed price of 3900

    Love my Allant+7 BUT...

Bummer, I find I only go really fast when I am going down a long incline. I don't think I have ever gone that fast just pedaling along a flat road, and rarely downhill. I never even saw the Allant +7 I did not realize they were cheaper. That may have swayed me!

    Love my Allant+7 BUT...

Wonder why they change things like that? It is such a nice detail. I rode a Verve 3. I liked it very much. After talking to the lbs the Allant seemed a better choice for my riding area. I live down several miles of gravel road and I prefer flat bars. The Allant offered a great option. I rode the...

    Love my Allant+7 BUT...

Oh I see, I didn't realize you didn't want the +7s. Either way your point seems valid. Is there a reason you aren't interested in the class 3?

    Love my Allant+7 BUT...

@Barry S I did not. One of the things my lbs told me was that was a nice feature of the bike because you could sit more or less upright giving you 2 completely different feels. I would like it to be just a little more upright but I think my brake cable is maxed out. I have been riding some...

My Allant+ 7S is the stagger frame.

Do you use more than one battery on your rides?

I'm ordering one next year, I look forward to hearing how you decide to carry yours. So far I haven't come close to running out but I find I really love the idea of going farther and farther. Today I rode 25 miles and my longest ride has been 45 miles

    Backpack inside a rear pannier?

It was recommended by someone else on this s Bummer, There is some give, and my backpack would fit in it but perhaps not all. I have also seen the backpack panniers online- maybe that would be a good solution :)

    Backpack inside a rear pannier?

I am using the Haul it from Arkel, it would be great to set your backpack in. I haven't seen any thing else like it https://www.arkel-od.com/haul-it-pannier/
