Great! Let us all know how the Rad Mission rides. I was hesitant to get the Mission to take off road because single speed and hills don't do well for me! Taking the Rad City on a fifty mile ride Sunday! Woo Hoo!

I'm 6" and have a 31 inch inseam. The Rad City fits me....barely. It is a big bike, but depending on your experience and skill level, it can fit just fine!

On my ride into work today, I turned PAS to 0 and did 28.6 mph down a long hill, pedaling as fast as I could. I reached the bottom of the hill, kept pedaling and went to PAS 2 / 3 up the other side of the hill. Hopefully this helps. At 24.7 mph in PAS 1 - 5 the motor will try to restrict speed.

Uh, it works fine on my two 2020 Rad City & 2020 Rad Rover bikes. My bike will give PAS right up to 24.8 mph, then will restrict speed. And when I put it into PAS 0 or 1, I can pedal over 24.8 mph and get speed up to 27 - 28 mph.

Don't know where you're located, but in St.Louis, MO we have lots of great places to ride.

On the Rad display, you can hold the up/down buttons together, then access the menu to change wheel size and increase max. kph from 32 to 40 kph. This will allow the Rad to give PAS up to 25 mph = 40 kph. That's about all you can do on a stock Rad.

Sorry that your experience isn't as good as mine. Proper brake lever adjustment is key and when you have a 2 mile uphill to escape the river bottom, having 3 bars is comforting. I wonder what "negative impacts" you are referring to?

We have two Rad City, a ST and a reg. frame, also I have a Rad Rover 5. I can tell you, at least from my experience, Re-Gen does work. It can take you from as little as 1 or 2 bars, up to 3 or 4 bars...if done properly. It's a skill that can lengthen a ride. Or at least keep the fear of...

Thanks EBJ for the advice. I did order a 130 BCD 44 tooth chainring, but it was smaller (outside diameter) than the current 130 BCD 42 tooth chainring on my Rad City. I've been looking for a 130 BCD 44 or 46 tooth chainring that will allow me to pedal at a slower cadence (80 - 95 rpm) and...

That is exactly what I made this post about. The stock 42 tooth chainring, that used to be 46 tooth, is not allowing me to spin in 6th or 7th gear.

I tested a Specialized Vado prior to buying my two Rad City E-bikes. What a great bike. smooth and fast. Very intuitive in operation. But, I did get two Rad Power Bikes for the price of one Vado. A really, nice bike! congratulations.

This has been a great adventure. This bike has gotten me off my butt and back in the saddle. Thank you Rad and all the good people here at EBR. Your support means a lot. Rode the 12 miles to work today. Great roads here near St.Louis. my new office buddy!

Maybe they're jealous! I get a lot of stares at my rear hub motor, but I always wave two fingers at least, and nod. Say "Hi". I do seem to be the only person that rings my bell when coming up on others in the lane and always say "On Your Left!" before I pass. I don't hear anyone else use this...
