    Review: New LMT'D - new owner's perspective

They told me I did a great job in packing up the bike and sending it back to them. He said it didn’t even look used. I think I have a pretty good idea what they are going to do with the bike I sent back if you catch my drift

    Review: New LMT'D - new owner's perspective

I’ve been touting how good Ride1UP’s customer service has been even after going through the hassles and expense of re-packing and shipping my “Limited” model bike back to them. The reason for the return was the poorly designed Torque sensor system which they are finally admitting does not...

    Review: New LMT'D - new owner's perspective

I give you credit Lumpydog for sticking it out. I couldn't get comfortable with the way the torque sensor was performing on my Limited. When I confronted RIDE1UP about this, and expressing my concerns that the initial buyers are the ones that are going to be disappointed, they assured me that...

What motor is in the Vado 3.0

I’ve been watching videos from and about Brose motors. They have some really nice motors. I haven’t purchased a Specialized bike yet, but the “gears” are turning in my head. Can the Brose motor in the Vado or Como be swapped out for a more powerful model? I understand the warranty issues. Would...

    Review: New LMT'D - new owner's perspective

I did try to to vary my cadence and pedal pressure. It didn't really help me but I'm sure other owners are finding they are either solving this problem or learning to adapt. I couldn't so I returned my bike. That being said, Ride1UP was amazing with the return process. I received my refund...

What motor is in the Vado 3.0

I am reading some literature about the Specialized Vado 3.0 and they list the motor as being a Specialized. Is it a motor made for them by Brose? If so, and I think it is, which model of Brose motor is it? Thanks!

    New LMT’d - who’s in?

I am looking at Juiced CrossCurrent S2 mostly because it has both torque and Cadence sensors. I'm a little leary with the Juice brand because of the QC issues I have read. The 700 is definitely in the mix. I think Ride1UP did a good job with the Limited, I just didn't care for the Torque sensor...

    New LMT’d - who’s in?

It was my first too. Save all of your packing and box. It took me a few hours to re-pack it. they told me it looked like I never un-packed it. They are good with returns so you don't have much to lose except shipping cost. From Florida it was $140 with $1500 insurance.

    New LMT’d - who’s in?

got it. Thanks! I would be interested to hear from buyers getting the second batch of Limited's to see if the controller or display changes the operation of the Torque sensor set-up

Buying Ride 1 Up bikes online

Try using Velotooler. You can get a service that the tech looks over the bike and make adjustments if needed. $49. Look them up. They give you a list (hopefully) of techs in your area. Ride1Up did recommend them.

Converting a Cannondale bike with motor and belt drive.

I have an older Cannondale bike (Silk 400 Comfort) that I'm thinking of converting it to a motorized and belt drive design. Can anyone give me some insight as to whether this can be done without too much work, and will it work? Ideally I would like it to be hud drive but if a mid drive system...

    Sondors Thin model. Belt Drive?

I saw a short video of Sondors thin model ebike. It stated it is belt drive. I cannot find this on their website. The "Thin" model shown looks to be chain driven. Is the belt drive model an older design?

    Analog Motion AMX ebike

Has anyone heard of this brand of Ebikes? Very simple, straight forward design with belt drive. They have a few models including a step-thru. Very interesting! I'm not sure where they are made or where the company is located.
