Bummer to be a New Yorker :(.. Did they set any parameters for what they consider illegal? Or, are they just blanket stating electric bikes are illegal?

Canadian Debit cards don't work the same as other international cards including USA ones.. even if they have a Visa symbol on them they don't normally work as credit. One day maybe though...

@SuperGoop Wire beads are tough.. Same deal on the Mariner 20x4".. Bought some replacement tires (flexible bead Vee's) for when replacement needs arrive. No way would I be able to change a tire on the road if I get a flat on this thing cuz of the bead... Travel with communication to the someone...

Sounds like you should take it to the bike shop and get it checked over. Maybe something happened during shipping? Can you upload some photos so others can see what is going on? George is usually quite helpful. Having a broken bike is a bummer though. Sorry.

I'm gonna guess no (but I have assumed wrong before) but I may be able to give it a try in a 2004 Corolla to see if that helps? Not sure if the trunks have changed over the years.

I believe the Yukon battery has a bit more capacity and the motor is a bit beefier. Perhaps this can extend the range your bike can go. I have noticed you can go slower and get more battery as well but I hadn't quite narrowed it down to 22km/h. I will keep that in mind though it's hard to not...
