New Bulls Firmware...I have an announcement!

Yes, a firmware update for Bulls Brose eBikes came out a few weeks ago and has made a huge difference. Dealers can now control the amount of assistance at each level, which is great if you aren't happy with the default levels. There were a few other updates as well, but adding the 4th level...

6.5 mile commute (including 2 mile dirt trail)

I love my Riese & Muller Delite Mountain because it is a full suspension eMTB with an optional rack. (I don't like wearing backpacks and I often use my bikes for errands, etc.) The rack is part of the suspension, so your laptops will get a smooth ride too :-) I also really like the built in...

    Narrowing down e-bike purchase

I think you'll find that it is worth the investment in the Bulls. The very low-maintenance aspect of the belt and IGH combination is great, plus as a commuter being able to shift while stopped is a huge benefit.

Known Issues & Problems with Riese & Müller Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I'm glad to hear that the videos were helpful for you. I agree, if you plan on riding a lot, then it is worth the investment in a quality eBike, and the Riese & Muller certainly are excellent quality. I just posted a review of the R&M Cruiser and Swing, along with a long term review of the...

Known Issues & Problems with Riese & Müller Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I've been riding the Delite Mountain and Charger GX Rohloff now for a few months (video reviews are available on our website.) I've only encountered one problem so far :-) Problem: I end up riding 100+ km and being gone all day when I'm supposed to be working. Solution: remove the second...

    Alex MD40 rims

I've put around 500 km on my R&M Charger GX Rohloff and around the same on my R&M Delite Mountain. Both have the MD40's, and so far I'm happy with them. I'll try to remember to report back in a few months when I have a lot more km's on them! I've also been really surprised at how well the...

Riese & Müller Abbreviations, Model Names, Etc.

I have the Charger GX Rohloff myself, and with the Hebie Chainglider installed, the chain requires very little maintenance. There are reports on UK eBike forums from people who have managed to get thousands of kms of use from their chain and they only applied a little chain oil every 1000 km or so!

    Riese & Muller Tinker

If it helps, I recently posted a video review of the Tinker Nuvinci: http://citruscycles.ca/r-m-tinker-nuvinci-urban-ebike It's a lot of fun to ride and you can fold the handle bars all the way back. The great thing about the Nuvinci hub and Gates belt is that you don't have to worry about a...

Pedego Trail Tracker vs Voltbike Yukon 500W Limited

We've heard from one customer here on Vancouver Island that was stopped by the RCMP to ask if his bike stopped providing assistance after 30 km/h. He politely explained that the his Bosch eBike stopped assisting at 32 km /h as per the law, and that ended the conversation. I was surprised to...

    Surface604 Boar Long Term Review

I've been riding a Surface 604 Boar since January and would be happy to answer any questions about it. I have three videos posted so far, with a couple of more than I need to edit still: Overview: Beach Ride: Trail Ride: As you can see from the trail ride video, there are some pretty...
