I have some pretty steep Hills and grades here , my Cannondale class 3 with the 250W 85 Nm Bosch Performance Speed handles them pretty well. Obviously physicle condition plays in also . I am 67 in decent shape for my age .
Yes, I agree with that, I had the same experience when I toured in Paris through https://gowithguide.com/France/Paris and cycled there, those small backstreets are fine, but the main roads can feel like a battle. That said, France as a whole has some fantastic cycling routes.Actually France is fantastic for cyclists, theres obviously immense respect for cycling.

If you are into getting sued, getting your illegal electric motorcycle impounded, getting maimed, not being able to ride on any street, bike path, or bike lane, okay fine. The pedaling position sucks and it is 85 pounds with a hub-drive. In California, if it is capable of being 'un-locked' to 'off-road' mode, then it is a motorcycle and must be licensed by the DMV and cannot use bike lanes. Kids or those with arrested frontal brain development, those who are attracted to these toys, are getting badly injured. There is a reason they are unlawful.
