    10,418 Miles on my 2021 Trek Allant+ 7S

As a 70 something year old guy, I ride my 2021 Allant+ 7S on concrete or asphalt roads every day to reach my daily goal of 7 miles. The area in my neighborhood is very hilly, so I always make use of the "push" I get from my Bosch motor only when I need it. I keep the bike clean, keep the tires...

Stuck Nyon Button on 2021 Trek Allant+ 7S

It's the minus button that is stuck.

Stuck Nyon Button on 2021 Trek Allant+ 7S

Which model number? I’ve seen two—a 300 and a 500. And would that be compatible with the 2021 bike model?

Stuck Nyon Button on 2021 Trek Allant+ 7S

Not sure which model is the correct one for a 2021 model. I see cables leading into the holes of the down tube, so I’m guessing that it’s not the remote version.

Stuck Nyon Button on 2021 Trek Allant+ 7S

My Allant+ 7S has a lower stuck button on the Nyon even after cleaning it (with floss, alcohol, and Q-tips). I think the spring in the button is shot, and so it makes it real difficult to ride my bike to get it to the speed I want until I do something about it. The bike has 10,371 miles on it...

Allant+ 7S Recall: Headlight bracket, Headlight Cable, Brake Lines

This documentation is exactly what I wanted to read and need to be on the lookout for! Thank you, TexasVet!

Allant+ 7S Recall: Headlight bracket, Headlight Cable, Brake Lines

I bought it in 2021. Back then, the tubing was more pliable, and tucked away more neatly.

Allant+ 7S Recall: Headlight bracket, Headlight Cable, Brake Lines

I just found out this afternoon some vague information about a Trek recall. I told my LBS technician that my brake lines are being pulled and the headlight cable is kinked. He told me that he had just received a bulletin on this yesterday (Sept. 18, 2023) and that he would be happy to take...

    Replacing My Schwalbe G-One Tires?

Interesting. I always thought the next step up from my old 2016 Trek Lyft+ was a 2016 Trek Super Commuter. So far, knock on wood, my other components are just fine. However, when the time comes, it will be nice to check on the reliability and the compatibility of the drive train components...

    Replacing My Schwalbe G-One Tires?

I don't know if Trek went for a special deal from Schwalbe that fits the geometry of the bike, or they couldn't decide what kind of riders would ride the Allant+7S and so they went with something that is as universal as possible. I'm kind of leaning to the former. I'm looking to get a pair...

    Replacing My Schwalbe G-One Tires?

The tread is too aggressive for my style of biking. Thanks for sharing.

    Replacing My Schwalbe G-One Tires?

Sparky, it sounds like you enjoy your Allant+ 7S, but in a different way than I do, which is just fine and sounds like fun. However, I never go gravel or dirt, and I always use it as strictly a road bike. I try to keep mine inflated to the max of 54psi since I like to bike around 10 to 16mph...

    Replacing My Schwalbe G-One Tires?

These are the tires that come standard on this bike.

No flats. Why did you change to the G-Ones?
