Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Hi Luis, What is a "get home kit"? Probably you mean these extra tools you need but exactly what are they? 2 minute exchange, with much practice, is very encouraging. I imagine that is in a shop with stands, lifts, whatever, but still very good. Not that we're counting minutes here but...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Could you just explain, roughly at least, how changing a rear tire with hub motor is different then non electric bike. have seen inferences that is a pita job and harder to do then regular bike but why is that specifically? Need a ride that allows one to fix flat on side of road.

Interesting report, and encouraging. If you stop on a steep hill can you get going again? (actually was worried this could be problem even without trailer)

    Cross Current and trailer

Thanks Jax, Are you saying that using just the throttle and not pedaling the 100 lb trailer doesn't move or very slowly? Is this on flats? Does seem like just using throttle is a good test for sake of comparison as it removes the riders strength or effort from equation. So any idea how...

    ODK U500 - Winter Riding?

Is the kickstand steel? If so a welder could put a stub on it. Had to do that once on a scooter. Really amazing when manufacturer messes that up. Keep us posted on electrical problem. A lot of us have unheated barns

    ODK U500 - Winter Riding?

Curious why you don't like the Tektro hydraulics and thought the BB7's might be better. If you just prefer mechanicals as I tend to you might try TRP Spyke's. Haven't yet myself but bike with others who say last longer, stop better, and adjust far easier then BB7. dual pads, more even wear...

Powerful Fat Tire E-bike w/ Torque sensor from Juiced Bikes

Tora, get the shakes looking at this. Truly a new universe. But would I be able to work with this also in between having the most enjoyable commutes and fun rides? Like will it come with bosses for a good rack? Seems like plenty power for hauling good load on bike trailer. Am I wrong?

    ODK U500 - Winter Riding?

Hi CafeRoaster So hows it going?, still riding? Any new observations? I'd have problem with severe cold also. Odk battery is listed as not easily removable. Could you say what's involved with that? How much of a pita it is? Regarding standing over bar for more traction. have you tried loaded...

Hi Ann, Do you know this to be true, that one can put suspension forks on U500? v3. Know I had trouble converting a rigid fork bike once.

So how does the version 3 ODK U500 do it. Is throttle limited by magnet on wheel spinning past a switch or what? How about throttle option for CC?
