I tried buying the upgrade within the Bosch app and I received a message "in app purchases not allowed." I recall something about this option not being available in the U.S. Any ideas? UPDATE: just changed setting for Bosch on my iPhone and it worked!

I also hate the kickstand on the Allant. Mine is adjusted to the shortest length available and it’s still too long. Has anybody out there tried trimming the inside telescoping piece to shorten it?

I liked the daytime running light on the M99, but not the gloss finish or large footprint. The mini is matte black and will fit nicely under the Bosch Nyon unit. I intend to flash the high beam only to wake up drivers about to cross my path. Otherwise, it'll be on low beam while riding around town.

No, but I bought it from a shop in the UK. The cost includes shipping. Installation was an additonal $100.

The micro spline shimano version of the Onyx hub was not yet available, and since I already had the SRAM Eagle electronic shifter, I upgraded the rear cassette to SRAM to match. Onyx had SRAM version available. Shifting is super smooth. How are you liking the Onyx rear hub?

Update: after daily short rides, the rear hub noise has stopped! Not sure why, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed. (...and my Onyx hub on order.)
