SC 2 battery size

Going on seven years now on my original 2020 SC2 Power Tube vertical batteries, so thinking about getting replacements for rotating in and out with the original units. Question: is the P.T. 625 compatible with the SC2 battery wells in the frame ? Meaning I have to find PT 500 verticals and can't use 625 for more Ah of power?

From what I understand, the PT 625 isn’t a direct fit for the SC2 battery wells because of the different physical dimensions. If the SC2 frame is designed specifically around the PT 500 verticals, you’d need to stick with the PT 500 unless the manufacturer confirms the PT 625 has the same dimensions and mounting configuration So I’d verify the physical dimensions before buying the 625 just for the extra Ah.

Before I ordered my 2020 SC2 I was initially told that the 500WH batteries could be upgraded to 625s later. This was later deemed incorrect, but of little consequence.

Thankfully, after more than 6 years of use the original batteries are still performing well. If range has decreased, I haven't noticed it.

The batteries still register a potential range over 200km when full, on flat land, and on ECO.

I'm interested to know what you find.
